I'm just tinkering with different CSS transitions between pages in Twine games.
* Expand.
(These below force the passages to the fixed width of 60em in order for the out-transition to be congruent with the in-transition.)
* Cross-fade.
* Zoom.

i worked on a game with my friend mno called GUU STTOB! it's a text adventure that becomes slowly infected by a spambot. he did most of the work but i did some of the writing and a bit of the programming!
i still hate pygame but pygcurse does look fun...i might use it in a solo project some time
I kinda intended for this to be the idea pitch where we all just pick some backdrops and make them.. I change the image size to 640x480 in irfan view and it seems to work without a hitch as long as i convert it to 256 colors.. I borrowed some images from Instinct Magic Theatre to promote oldschool pre-windows movie maker awareness, as this is all we had cept for mario paint, and that's snes. Bridging the gap, if you have some good backdrops throw em here, I'd just like to see some more as the backdrops in knp are soooo great but so limited. I could only make a library by putting all the stuff i want on frame one and you can too, and I will too. Let's expand on the library. Put something in for the ug, expand the defaults as we have a lot but not enough foundations to lay those characters and games on. Remix the old ones? That's cool too. I like the originals. I'll throw more up though... But for now I gotta focus on these ugg boots.
yes, that includes fixing the spawn placement and also making the enemies more difficult to dodge

here is the latest wip of the birthday game for my bf, which ive decided to call "18" as it is his 18th birthday uwu
it is alot more concentrated and focused unlike my previous games. in the finished game, there will be three levels.

mhm so im working on possibly my biggest project yet (or at least the project with the most effort put into it)
its a little birthday game for my bf seven yea
its his birthday in 2 days or so, so yea i gotta fuckin hurry up and finish it.
i think you'll enjoy it regardless though as its pretty playable.
also ive had a thought about "what if knps source code was released"
i would try to fork it or something and make lots of little changes to it without removing or changing any of the source stuff in it
little list that ive thought up:
- add 64-bit os support
- add many many keyboard short cuts such as ctrl+z and ctrl+s
- add scrollwheel support
- possibly see if its possible to port it to other os's??????
- fix other little bugs/annoyances
as far as adding new features goes, not many would actually be added other than those three i listed there
theyre really the only ones that are needed, its otherwise pretty gosh darn perfect
also as for the sequel to house runner 2, it will be done at some point in time, im still thinking of ideas and how it plays out. the main storyline will be that after mr. pickens arrives in his house, he sees some tickets to a soccer match and he has to hurry up and get to the stadium before kick off. there will be maybe things to distract him along the way and he must be careful, quick and nimble as he moves along. i will be attempting to do original graphics (or some graphics based off other ones) for it so yea it'll take a little while longer. also; because of knp's limitations, i'll be making it in multimedia fusion 2. as for the music, if i can figure out how to create midis in fl studio or something then i'll use that. otherwise, it'll be tuneless, alot like this birthday game im making.
speaking of the birthday game yet again, the version i put up here may or may not have the celebratory thingys in im not sure it may just be the main game
or perhaps i could upload both versions? who knows.
