Zombie Smashers X2

In this River City Ransom clone-'em-up, you can punch the head off a zombie and then use it as a weapon. SOLD.

Developer's website, which irritatingly points to a dead page for ZSX2.
Working download link for the demo.

I'm now totally psyched for his upcoming XBLA game, The Dishwasher.

I hope you remembered to

I hope you remembered to grab the free download of the full version from http://game.giveawayoftheday.com yesterday. Because that was the only day to get it.

I remember playing the demo of the first version years ago, and that was pretty fun. But, yeah, it's a huge game. I don't think we ever even finished the demo, but that might have been due to some bug that kept us from finding the boss for a long time.

I actually installed it just 30 minutes shy of the deadline.

Jim Silva is AMAZING

I have loved this man's work ever since I first laid eyes on Zombie Smashers X.

His site there is missing a number of his games, but it has the thoroughly amazing Survival Crisis Z. I would recommend giving it a try.

Also, he once made a game called Zombies & Pterodactyls 2005. It's something of a Soldat clone and can be a rather amusing time. I wonder, if someone managed to dig it up again, if it'd be possible to host a ZP2k5 server here?

Anyone tried out Zombie

Anyone tried out Zombie Smashers X4: Guitarpocalypse on XBLA Community Games? It seems to be a Smash Brothers clone that my TV is too small and standard-def to properly appreciate.
