how many people have to die to protect the solitude of mystery island?

the slow controls are cool, though it took me a minute to realize what was happening when I pressed the keys. The airplanes felt naive to me, they didn't seem hostile at all. There's something about the way the waves were set up - a few initial exploratory planes, then a deluge of curious ones, then none at all - that made me think the planes were more curious about the island than trying to conquer it. I also liked the permanence of the explosions that made the deaths of the planes seem a bit more weighty.
