The Adventure of Link II ZZT is a high fantasy themed action-adventure game based on the popular Nintendo franchise. It was made in 2012 by bitbot and is his first release. The game is notable for pushing ZZT's limits. It is the single largest world ever created. Gameplay consists of a mixture of action, adventure and puzzle solving. It features isometric battles, fishing, a platformer, a comprehensive inventory, cutscenes and complete musical score rendered in traditional PC speaker. There are side quests and mini-games that pay homage to classic titles such as Digger (1983) and Adventure (1979). The Adventure of Link II ZZT is a direct sequel to The Adventure of Link (1987) again involving the protagonist, Link, on a quest to save Princess Zelda and recover the Triforce. As of this writing, it is the only sequel to the original, as all other games in the series are prequels, according to the offical Zelda timeline.
