state.history[0].passage is null -- Help?

Hi!
So I made a stupid mistake of editing my story made in Twine 1.3.5 in the 1.4 version without saving a copy first. I've used a lot of scripts from Glorious Trainwrecks and I think some of them are in conflict with the new "back" option, because I get this message at the beginning of the story:

state.history[0].passage is null

The story runs without problems afterwards, but I'd like to fix the problem. I've googled for it, but cannot find an answer. Could anybody please help me fix it? I'd be very grateful.

I'm attaching the html of the story. If anything else would be required, please let me know.

HO HO HO all you GT'ers out there! It's time once again for us to celebrate making games with gusto. It's the SEKRET SANTA 2017!

Here's how it works. There are 3 steps to follow.

STEP 1 (CLOSED): Post your wish list in the comments below. Let us know what kind of game you want FOR CHISTMAS. Due 3rd December. It can be anything you want. When I was a kid I would have an itemized list set up for my parents after I browsed through the entire JCPenney Christmas catalogue. You can do the same thing, but for stuff you want to see in your very own game.

STEP 2 (CLOSED): On December 3rd, you receive your assigned game recipient. Have a look at their list and be inspired to make a game for them.

STEP 3 (ACTIVE): Submit your game for this event, and post notice of it to the recipient! Games are due (kind of) by 7th January, 2018.

Haha oh boy. Kliking on a period Win98 PC certainly brings back some good memories and old frustrations. Hand in hand. Back in storage you go.

Use the password speedtest to run a simple benchmark. My vintage box can handle about 80 Yellow Joggers before it starts slowing down.

(The vintage box in question is an OptiPlex GX1 tower with a PIII CPU @ 450MHz and 512MB RAM.)

Edit: Uploaded a v1.1 with a cleaned up instructions page and a Win9x-style sample playback lag toggle ('w' key ingame). The lag mode has a bug where some shots seem to get stuck in the upper-left corner, but it more or less gets the point across.

Double edit: Hmm... MMF2 and Fusion 2.5 do not like some of the events in this game, particularly the rotation of the disco guy.

I was going to make some sort of shmup tower defense thing where you place towers/options/multiples around the screen and try to avoid being killed by waves of enemies without having weapons on the player "ship" itself, but then I didn't feel like making waves of enemies and noticed that I had already basically made potential obstacles in making the towers.

The red bar draining at the top indicates when the next tower will spawn. When it empties, a new tower is placed at your current position. After another few seconds, the tower goes into "active" mode. Once active, the tower fires bullets at a set rate. Survive for as long as possible and set that high score!

Shift - slow movement speed
