I got Clickteam Fusion 2.5 from the current HumbleBundle. I'm interested in getting familiar with it for fast prototyping. there are far fewer tutorials for Clickteam than there are for Unity and I like to look through tutorials and follow along. If anyone comes across good ones or happens to make some, please tell me so I can check them out.
THE LAST WORD ON THE TITLE IS PHANTASMAGORIA
A 9999 HP BOSS
100 LIVES
AND A CRAPTON OF BULLETS
HOLD Z AND PRAY FOR MERCY
A poopy little point-and-click arcade-style game about blowing up pirates with A-bombs. Blow up enough pirates and you'll get rich and win the game! Blow up enough civilians and you'll lose. Either way: Hitler.
This is a very quick game for three players around one keyboard.
Players 1 and 2: win the affection of the beautiful obese lady by pushing and squashing your rival beneath her. Your power meters determine the strength of your push.
Player 3: shift your weight to help your preferred player win. The other two players are expected to win your favour outside the game in order to earn your preference in-game. What form this takes is up to you and them.
A - Player 1 push.
L - Player 2 push.
V, B - Player 3 shift weight.
the goal of nerdsnipe: the game is to contemplate what a game entitled "nerdsnipe: the game" would be like, how it would play, and how you would put your own spin on it if you were to make it.
you win when you think to yourself, "gosh, did i seriously just spend that long thinking about a game called 'nerdsnipe: the game'?" - i.e. to become nerdsniped! (verb: To present someone [or oneself] with a very interesting problem to solve, distracting them from whatever they were doing previously.)
based on true events.
Just saw this notice for the Bad Box Art Jam over at gamejolt. March 25th - 27th.
http://jams.gamejolt.io/badboxart/gallery-of-trash
48 hours seems like WAAAAY too much time to put a game together. But the game boxes they chose for the jam are pretty outrageous. I'd say it's well worth a look.
I'm off work that weekend so I will see if I can make a game for each of the box arts they have in their Gallery...
You have devoted yourself to science! But the science is Bad. It is a responsibility to be assumed! You must take up your Quest: Kitten Quest!!
The Unbreakable Chain is a forthcoming game by Leon Sadler, co-founder of FAMICON, the group responsible for klik klassics such as RE: Get To Schol On Time. The combination of high-concept ideas and questionable MSPaint graphics on display here practically guarantees this game will be a fascinating trainwreck.
The PC version looks to be a sure thing, but if the campaign succeeds there will be iOS, Xbox and possibly Flash ports. I hope it raises the extra $200 or so it needs to succeed! Maybe you can help?
A gimmick.
i ended up spending longer than i had intended to on this game due to a combination of sheer laziness and a lack of any real programming talent! a lot of things are broken, and i would have liked to have made more levels/not so haphazard levels. oh well! i do hope that you enjoy this game!! i did have fun making certain parts of it!
music used is by lohstana david (cc-by)
