I'm sorry I'm so late JumboDS64. The project file I had got deleted while working on it and then school started back up and I neglected to recreate it until now. I will post what I had of the 2016/17 version when I get Wifi.

Objective (optional?)

Play hide & seek with cat:
1. Embrace cat at home.
2. Click through text.
3. Cat blinks around office zone — catch it.
4. Click through text.
5. Repeat.
6. Quit anytime.

'Secret codes':
- welcome to the fantasy zone — reduce gravity (cumulative)
- varla - increase move + run speed (cumulative)
- wait - 80% chance cat will stay where it is for longer (cumulative)
- silence - toggle music (persists between play sessions & works everywhere)

Tips:
Cat is different color in office zone. Also small. Often hiding (e.g. at end of dead-end alleys, on rooftops) but sometimes not.
You can walk up various building walls (clunky BethSoft style).
Chance plays a big role — if you’re focused on finding cat, playtime can be 5 seconds to 20+ minutes. That's okay.
Use 'secret codes'. Type the letter keys while you’re in office-zone. Spaces are optional.

Audio is basically an attempt to sound like ~2000's era Boards of Canada (via recollection -- it's been a few years).
Audio features a loop (the sashaying cymbals) from "The Forge" bundle by Hecq, which was a free thingy via Ableton at some point.

The sound of a gentle breeze, as your friends keep their breath underheard from nosy managers:

You did hear that. You've heard it every year for 23 years, a lie meant to strike fear in elves who start to question their work ethic.

This took longer than I intended and therefor is quite short.

Some backstory:
You play as a nameless potato who managed to escape from the ducks who planned to turn you and your friends into food. As you jump off and flee from the killing floor above, you find yourself in the sewers of the factory...

Luminoul is a platformer puzzle game. It requires some dexterity and patience where the level design has flaws, but everything is playable and beatable.

I programmed it in Construct 2 in about two weeks after school let out for Christmas break. All the artwork is mine but the music and sound effects aren't.

mutantleg: I feel bad about hardly making anything this year.. but last xmas one went well so i guess i should enter..

Internet Ghost Story (unfinished)

This is my game for Denson.
Yeah, it's unfinished. Sorry about that... What happened is that at first I was going to make a text adventure, which i worked a little on, but then I changed my mind and made a Java game, which I worked a little on. Then I changed my mind AGAIN, to making a PuzzleScript game, and by then, more than half of the allotted time had passed. And I wasn't too exited to make the game... the wishlist kinda seems to call for a story-based game, and plot writing is not my strong suit...
As you can see, the internet ghost is the main mechanic of the game. (It's fucked up in the way that it kills whatever it passes over. Although not implemented, I was going to make it kill you if it passes over you.) I was thinking of making the ending of the game some sort of tragic event or something where the only way to finish is to do something that kills you in the process... maybe that's what makes some female (maybe the player's relative or friend or wife) incredibly sad, fulfilling the last wish item (which was in russian for some reason? maybe she'd be russian?)

By the way, here's Denson's wishlist: (yeah, i've only implemented one item so far...)

This is a game I've created for akair. Merry christmas and a happy new year!
What was requested: Nintendo, Snowy, Cozy, Puzzles (zelda-like), Mysteries, Adventures.
This is my very first Unity game, yay!

Controls:
ARROW keys - Move santa
WASD keys - Rotate camera
SPACE (or J) - Jump
ALT+ENTER - Toggle fullscreen mode

Game objective:
Santa is late (again) and Jimmy wants his presents. Find and bring him all of his presents to finish the game.

Side quests (complete all side quests to get a "special ending"):
- Rescue a certain princess
- Meet every NPC
