(This is a level for Katelabs, make sure you have that before downloading this.)

((And yeah, the cover art is a collage, so there's no scene of the level that looks exactly like that. I've heard this is sometimes referred to as "deception in advertising". Luckily that could never apply to us because none of us have been advertising.))

As the Babylonians, looking towards the already ancient poetic world of Gilgamesh- I hope to renew gaming's ancient and poetic world: that world of "Bump Combat".

The fragments are evident in many places: as the Babylonians took multiple works of poetry, and founded a single narrative by conjoining them, I hope to redeem this underappreciated form by taking elements from its most derided entries and building them into a single work- which by its virtues I hope will shine a new light on history.

An open-world deckbuilder roguelite for ZZT. ZOZ was created between July 10 and November 10 of 2022 using Weave 2 (https://meangirls.itch.io/weave-2). Created as part of Open World Jam 2022: https://www.glorioustrainwrecks.com/node/12211 - ZZT was created in 1991 by Tim Sweeney. Weave 2 makes use of the reconstruction-of-zzt codebase found here: https://github.com/asiekierka/reconstruction-of-zzt/ and is by extension licensed under the MIT license. The game contents itself are livensed under the CC-BY-SA 4.0 license. For more details on this, see the bottom of this page.

Full Release

The full release of this game is playable in its entirety online, via download here at Glorious Trainwrecks or online at https://stale-meme-emporium.itch.io/zoz. It is built to run on DOS machines, but an emulator is provided with the downloadable version of the game.
