Maggie and Peter are bounty hunters - at least they were, until Maggie's ex-girlfriend Eleanor hires them to solve a mystery. Her rare insect collection was stolen, and she would like it back. Also, Peter is a sentient explosion, and I personally think that is really cool!

Will Maggie and Peter find the missing bugs? Will Maggie win Eleanor back or will she finally listen to Peter and move on? Does a game count as a visual novel if you control a moving character?

Merry Christmas Alchiggins!
Sorry the game is both late and very short. This is my first 3D game so it took some time to grasp everything. Hopefully the game is clear of any game breaking bugs! :)

Controls:
WASD or arrow keys (Im guessing a controller works too, but not sure)
"E" for interaction

When I got you as a Santee I was so happy, because your wishlist coincided (at least in my mind) with a game I´ve been wanting to make for quite some time.
I´m sorry it is so short, there are tons of things I´ve wanted to add, everything from explaining the story more, to little details around in the game, but its February so the game has to be done. For now :)

ummm here is my "video game"

secret info: f4 to fullscreen, game autosaves, delete the ini file it creates to restart your progress

requirements:
A combination/clash of two themes/aesthetics that aren't typically seen together
A gimmick or mechanic that leaves no corner of the game unscathed ("really? did it really have to also affect this?")
Homemade ambient track
A parable that teaches the player a lesson quite different from any parable they have heard before
A fun or interesting character controller, or one with two different modes

wasn't able to hit the second and fourth marks BUT i have achieved combining the aesthetics of 'pixel art' and 'vector flash gradients' as well as 'cute character' in 'uncute environment.'
made a couple homemade ambient flavored tracks and movement is platformer but can also propel yourself by shooting

sound effects were made with jsfxr
i did not make the song that plays in the bonus level
the world 2 song uses a sample that's just a clip of another song, and it is not a song that i made. i don't know what song it is i found it in a silly video and i wasn't able to successfully find the source of the audio but i do know that i did not make it

A secret santa game for HANSOV. The requirements:

- A very gimmicky gimmick
- Some stuff from old public domain animation/comics/cartoons (bonus points for Stardust the Super Wizard, though it's not a requirement)
- Something to do with pinball in some fashion

This is what I got. Hope it's not too small, I was having trouble due to work stuff. I did what I could!
