Orange Tycoon

Super Orange Tycoon Thing 2 - The Mystery Of The Lemons, the sequel nobody was waiting for! Top features of this game include:
- All the characters from the first game, plus a few more.
- An advanced upgrade system (For KnP standards, at least).
- Cookie Clicker-like hiring system.
- Too many fruits 7.8/10.
- 10 to 15 minutes worth of gameplay on a single frame.
Mouse used to control everything. You can press F1 for instructions on how to play. But for the proper experience i recommend you figure things out yourself as they appear.

(presumably so we wipe out each other in unfortunate office accidents)

As a gamer, I found ...World Of Explore? to be highly satisfying: with SIX whole customizable* characters who can each explore THREE massive locations in highly unique ways (such as: snowman can move left or right, singer can move left or right, jogger can move left or right and up slightly if you glitch the game), players have many reasons to replay it over and over.

This is the only highlight of WoE?, unfortunately. The sound design is awful: there is no consistency between interaction sounds, which all sound like they're from random sources. Music inside of the game appears to be, to my finely tuned ears, entirely composed of MIDIs that should not have seen the light of day. I will admit though, the title theme Welcome To The World Of Explore! by Dj Ruffty is such a great track! I give Music such a high score below only because of this.

Finally, on the visual side, things get a little better. Honestly, I just appreciate the sheer effort put into making every scene ridiculous and overblown. Sometimes, it feels like the art team was just trying to make something be totally differnt from everything else. The lack of cohesion in the art design (yet again, I feel like almost everything is taken from some clipart package or some such) does the narrative of the game harm though, almost to the point that I would call it anti-ludological.

That's every component of a Game covered: Replay, Sfx, Muses, and Sight. Also every sense we evolved humans have.

This is the kind of games written in French, where Dinosaurs don't want the night to come, so they make dinosaur sacrifices to the Sun God in the hope he will stay up the sky, but SPOILER they can't really escape the inevitable hahaha END OF SPOILER.

Today is a very special day and I hope it will bring big changes in my life, I was nevertheless bored so I decided to make a game about the end of an era (would also be the beginning of a new one even if the game is adressing more the Crépuscule Fatal than the Lendemain qui chante).
Making this game was immensely fun. Only in the end it got really frustrating with all the KNP buggy malédiction falling on my head... so many bugs. I think I'll go to TGF very soon if I can import all the clipart libs.

Whimsical : Zéro

Whimsical Zéro shares common features with the 2 previous episodes of the trilogy, Whimsical 2 and its postpreseprequel Whimsical Snack Hound : Meanwhile, elsewhere (also called Whimsical 1 although it was released right in the middle of the trilogy).

I've been changing my mind about this thing so many times, and I don't want to work on it anymore. Clearly the experience of a lifetime, don't want to go through it again even after you know what.

Although I never used more than one *.gam savefile, therefore erasing all intermediate steps in the making of this game, I still keep approximate memories of the games I prevented it to become, and I'm planning on artificially recreating them as post-mortem drafts, a new genre of unwanted trainwrecks I may spam this website with. I already have ideas on how to describe them.

I did my best to make Whimsical Zéro a satisfying conclusion to the trilogy for all of you Whimsical fans.
