Merry Christmas Hugs!

I only got to include four of the things (I made up a language, but didn't squeeze it in :( ). But I think they are good ones~

I learnt a lot making it, and had a lot of fun. Hope you like it. Can you can find the s e c r e t ?

Controls are configurable, but the defaults are

WASD to jog.
Left Ctrl to grab.
Left shift to walk.
Spacebar to jump
Backspace to restart.
Escape to quit.

If you have a controller it should work with that too--works with mine (but quit and restart are only on keyboard)!

this game turned out to be kind of a mess, but i hope you do enjoy.

description of game:
crush your enemies and collect all the coins. it's the life of a princess.
you get points by collecting the coins. you lose points by getting blown up. you also lose points by getting bumped, and you lose even more points when you get bumped or blown up while you have powerups. you should collect those powerups, though, and avoid touching anything unhelpful. if you die on zero or fewer points, it's game over! theoretically, though, you can finish the game with a negative score. if you're clever.

music featured is by abstraction!

controls:
arrow keys or wasd - move
space or z - fire your weapon
x or tab - switch between your weapons
p - pause the game
r - quick restart after game over

Penguin Racing 3: Capture The Penguin was created for let-off-studios. I made it in my favorite engine, Scratch. My computer died 2 days ago so I'm on a brand new computer without my software to make this an executable or flash file, so in the meantime, please click the link to get the Scratch site and then the green flag to launch the game. It's nice and glitchy and I spent far too long making it and I'm pretty sure it will disappoint let-off-studios but, hey, I made it, and making it is half the battle.

and the theme was:

And indeed: humans get evicted and turn to space piracy,
earth's coordinates are lost, and you are out of cash

A mix of Captain Blood and Elite (or at least it attempts to be)
There are 4000 sectors to visit, you can climb ranks, trade stuff,
hunt for treasures (one in each system)
and ultimately buy back earth (once you found it)
.. and uhh.. thats about it

Tips:
* an XXL treasure is hidden at the space police HQ (that is if you can figure out their number.. i mean sector)
* don't get scammed: not everything in the shop is useful (they not gonna tell you the coordinates: they dont know either)
* if you are totally lost you can still cheat by looking at the source (and feel more lost than ever before )
* buying back earth needs at least 100 treasures .. and/or real good trading skills
* WASD to thrust, Arrow keys to rotate, Space to shoot and Enter to stabilise/stop your ship

* also almost forgot: the game is paused if you are not in cockpit mode (so feel free to take your time)
