this game turned out to be kind of a mess, but i hope you do enjoy.

description of game:
crush your enemies and collect all the coins. it's the life of a princess.
you get points by collecting the coins. you lose points by getting blown up. you also lose points by getting bumped, and you lose even more points when you get bumped or blown up while you have powerups. you should collect those powerups, though, and avoid touching anything unhelpful. if you die on zero or fewer points, it's game over! theoretically, though, you can finish the game with a negative score. if you're clever.

music featured is by abstraction!

controls:
arrow keys or wasd - move
space or z - fire your weapon
x or tab - switch between your weapons
p - pause the game
r - quick restart after game over

i ended up spending longer than i had intended to on this game due to a combination of sheer laziness and a lack of any real programming talent! a lot of things are broken, and i would have liked to have made more levels/not so haphazard levels. oh well! i do hope that you enjoy this game!! i did have fun making certain parts of it!

it's a single-screen platformer! it's not very lemmingsy, but it is vaguely lode runnery. and vaguely frustrating.

use the arrow keys!

uses vrld's hump and hardoncollider, and kadoba's advanced tiled loader for LÖVE
music is "surfing on a sinewave" by fearofdark (stephen hemstritch-johnston) (creative commons by-sa-nc)

see attached .love archive if you want to run the thing in osx or linux (must have LÖVE installed) or if you want to poke around in the source.

POST-GDC BUGFIX: due to a slight oversight, the wallet wasn't actually placed in the play area and as such the game was unwinnable. this should now be fixed.

and uh, make sure you've cleared a little space around it.
