Introduction
WHAT IS THIS? This is "Bowser's Castle - Mario & Luigi's survival horror". It's a freeware puzzle game programmed in Q-Basic, a high level programming language.
This is the latest addition to BISI's library of titles. Following such hits as Rescuing Tour and Adventure 3, Bowser's Castle continues the tradition of excellent QBasic VGA games for your PC.
Bowser's Castle features fast and colorful state-of-the-art VGA 320x200x16 graphics. I at BISI am proud to bring you this thrilling new addition to your video game library.
Story
Guess what? Bowser did it again. The evil king of the Koopa has just kidnapped Princess Peach and now holds her captive in his castle.
It is your task as the Mario Brothers to accept Bowser's challenge and venture into his treacherous, puzzling, maze-like dark castle.
So, get ready to face countless puzzles and outwit swarming enemies. Bowser's Castle's 100 levels await you!

Onto the things everybody knows: Mario, Luigi, Peach, Bowser, Goomba, Buzzy-Beetle, Shy-Guy, their graphics and sounds, are all Nintendo's. Medusa is Hal's and Skel-Monsta is Taito's.

The items
You may find these items when solving Bowser's Castle's levels.

	Question Block	Touch them to reveal what's inside.
	Coin	Collect 100 coins to earn a Continue.
	Super Mushroom	Adds one heart to your energy meter.
	Fire-Flower	You get three shots for each Fire-Flower you pick up.
	Emerald box	You can push them around. Use them to block your enemies!
	Ice block	When pushed, these blocks skid along the floor until they bump into something. A fireball can melt them.
	Power Star	Retrieve this and you cleared the level!
	Key	Used to unlock doors of the same color.

The enemies
These are the enemies lurking in the various mazes of Bowser's Castle. Watch out for them!

	Goomba	This little guy just moves back and forth in a straight line. He is quite fast, but he's no match for a well-aimed fireball!
	Buzzy-Beetle	This hard-shelled enemy moves just like the Goombas. However, they are much slower. Fireballs can't hurt them.
	Shy-Guy	The masked dude moves in a straight line like everyone else, but he will turn 90 degrees clockwise when he encounters an obstacle in his path. One fireball and he's gone.
	Medusa	Medusa can cast her deadly Evil Eye in a straight line in all four directions. She can't move, but her shoots can go clear across the room. Once she stares at you there is no way to get out of her path. Try to block her sight with Emerald Boxes. Enemies will work too!
	Skel-Monsta	Also known as Baron Von Blubba, this little white ghost somehow made its way to Bowser's Castle. Some of them are in plain sight, but most of them are hiding behind Question Blocks, so be careful! They are vulnerable to fireballs and can't move, though.
