NEWS ARCHIVE ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Feb/09/2006 - Jean-Pierre picks up his sword once again! An on-line friend of mine named Chris Strake (a.k.a. CtrlAltDestroy) has finished a most impressive fan game based on my well-known Adventure game series! It's called Adventure Zero Mission, it's been fully written in Visual Basic, and it's basically a reinterpretation of the original Adventure game by yours truly, with updated graphics, music, and -most importantly- a massively expanded quest! The game is actually several times larger than my own Adventure 3, and features an extensive world map and many challenging dungeons for the player to explore. _______________ Aug/26/2005 - Major redesign!! As you can tell, I've redesigned pretty much the whole site. My goals were to improve layout and overall navigation, and I think I succeeded! On a different note, my HDD crashed about two months ago, and all progress on Coy 5 has been lost. Fear not, though, for I have already restarted the project. Well, I think that's it for now. ^_^ _______________ May/30/2005 - Big news! Big news, people! About three weeks ago, the staff of VGmusic decided to relocate the Role-Playing and Fiction board. A MyFreeBB account was set up, and elections for two Moderators and one Administrator ensued. I was nominated and, well, I am now the Administrator of the new role-playing forums, namely RP Haven! :D You can check the forums via this link: http://www.rphaven.org/ Oh, by the way, the old RP forums of VGmusic were the birthplace of hits such as The Blade of Fake and The Void of Illusions. _______________ Apr/15/2005 - I'm not dead! It looks like for whatever reason I forgot to announce the grand opening of the official homepage for The Void of Illusions! I'll make a proper announcement later... maybe. In the meantime, check it out clicking here: http://www.angelfire.com/hero/geminisaint/void/index.html _______________ Dec/18/2004 - My first Flash animation! A giant baby attacks the city? The president's lovely daughter gets kidnapped? It sure looks like a job for no other than Super Bolseen! This is my very first full-length Flash animation, clocking at almost nine whole minutes! This thing began as a project for college, but then I expanded it further and further until accomplishing what you see. I learned Flash as I made this, so the evolution is quite apparent: the second half of the story is so much better than the first half; you'll see. Finally, it's in Spanish -my native language. English subtitles are provided for everyone's contentment. Oh, and don't close the window as soon as the word "FIN" appears on screen! There's a lot of wacky extra action going on in the credits! Don't miss it! ;) Well, here's the link. Enjoy! http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/208286 _______________ Nov/11/2004 - The Blade of Fake 2 has been released! The true and only sequel to my successful RP story titled The Blade of Fake has finally arrived to The Blade of Fake's official homepage! Freako and a cast of weird characters face the mystery of FM and his Void of Delusions, in what starts as a funny parody of the original "Void of Illusions", which is also slated for release somewhere toward the end of this year. _______________ May/09/2004 - A new QB-programmed game! Would you try my latest puzzle game? - It plays a lot like Sega's "Columns". - It's all about performing combos and chainns! - It has recognizable characters from my rennowned Adventure series! - Just like most of my other games, this onee won't work from within the ZIP file. Extract all four files to any empty folder, then just double-click SOKESGEM.EXE to run the game. - For more info, check "Readme.txt" Well, I hope you like it. Comments are welcome! _______________ Mar/03/2004 - I'm not dead! I'm making up for the total lack of updates for the last 43 days. Are you ready to get into my latest invention? If so, click on the above snazzy logo and enter the weird world of "The Blade of Fake"! It's a fairly clever parody of your standard RPG plot. It has lots of video game references, RPG clichés mockery, weird characters, funny situations, and more! A must read, if you ask me :) _______________ Jan/20/2004 - Back at home! I was at Buenos Aires for the last two weeks. Now I'm back at home. I'm currently doing some new pics, and I got some web space at AngelFire. Right now it only serves as a mirror of my art gallery, but it may host Coy 5 someday in some future... Check it out here, if you want. Chack'n Pop Almost forgot! I opened a new web page with lots of info about Chack'n Pop (a classic Taito arcade game, precursor of Bubble Bobble). If you're interested, the link is right here. _______________ Dec/25/2003 - Samias Parody Special Episode 2! Bigger, longer and uncut! Take a look at Samias' latest parody adventure right here! Merry Christmas! _______________ Dec/01/2003 - BISI expands its reaches! I recently opened an art corner in the VCL image archive. Its heavy focus on half animal half human characters (furries) makes quite a lot of my pictures on-topic with the site, so that's it. I opened that account under the name "GeminiSaint" instead of "FireMario", though. It's located right here: http://vcl.ctrl-c.liu.se/vcl/Artists/GeminiSaint. You're invited to take a look, especially if you like my artwork, and also because there are some pics that aren't here. On top of that, all files were saved using better quality settings than the ones that are already here. _______________ Nov/08/2003 - Here comes the snail! Coy finally hits the Internet! All parts of this 5-part epic graphic novel made by me in 1996 are up! Go and read it! Just remember you won't be able to read/download it all in one sitting. Geocities has a tight bandwidth limit. When said limit is reached, the site gets disabled for awhile, and all you get is an error screen in Spanish. When that happens, please try again later! _______________ Sep/03/2003 - Seiya's comeback! Saint Seiya returns to Latin-American TV screens thanks to Cartoon Network LA. Their smart move include emiting Saint Seiya just like it was aired back in the '90s, that is completely uncensored, which is pretty amazing given we're talking about Cartoon Network! They also bring us both original Opening and Ending, which is a plus. Unfortunately, none of the above statements can be applied to the States: "Knights of the Zodiac": Seiya invades USA, but... Yes, it finally happened, but the cost was so high. It's so sad that it fell victim to DiC's infamous big scissors... Saint Seiya's USA version has been bastardized to no end, what with over-editing, cutting, dialogue rewriting, etc. DiC managed to turn pure gold into pure crap. They even went so far as to change all BGMs, which is a real shame. Saint Seiya's original soundtrack stands out for its amazing orchestral and choral pieces. "Knights of the Zodiac" will NOT survive with this insane, awful editing over its shoulders... Seiya from BISI's viewpoint: QBasic Of course, I'm planning to do a game based on Seiya's world sometime in the near future. Let's see what happens :) _______________ Aug/24/2003 - Entered Destination X project! I recently entered NightBat's Destination X RPGmaker project as the new official artist and character designer!
