BONES By Shep

While surfing the net, I came across Shep's Klik & Play Home Page. At the site was a downloadable Klik & Play game called 'Bones'. It promised over 200 frames, yet was only 295kb! Intrigued, I downloaded the game and began to play. I was amazed when I discovered the claim was true..!
In Bones you play a little dog in a mad dash to collect (yep,you guessed it) bones! But the great thing about the game is its clever use of scrolling. Reach the right hand side of the screen and you're in a different part of the landscape, but still on the same frame! The miracle is that the game runs perfectly fast!
Throughout our Dog's journey, he must avoid all manner of creatures; from birds to snakes. Some of the creatures are helpful, though; for example you must climb on turtles' shells to cross streams and lakes! The game is very well drawn and animated, and it plays very well. There is little music but what there is, although not by Shep, is very good. The sound fx suit the style of game well.
Bones is very hard as well, due to the fact that once your lives are gone it's back to the start; and there's only one MASSIVE level so it can be frustrating. Overall though, Bones is a very playable game that will bring you a lot of fun.

GRAPHICS 90%	All the sprites and characters are very well drawn and animated.
MUSIC 85%	Well chosen music that suits the game. Not much to speak of.
SFX 86%	The sounds are very well done. Again, not many of them.
GAMEPLAY 95%	Very playable; the dog is responsive and handles well (that makes him sound like a motor car!)
LASTABILITY 94%	Huge game; and very hard to beat.
OVERALL 90%	A great game; definitely recommended.
