What? You didn't come to see the new rapper? This is a site about video games? Well, you're right about that, but you say I go off topic so much I can't even remember the subject? Huh? You want fanfics, huh? Yeah? That's what you want, well let me tell you something, I am the master here, no one on this site is gonna tell me what I can and cannot do when I *eXtended Player comes in with a bat and gives me a withering look* He, he, ahee hee hee! On with the fanfics, "frend"!

I know this basically sucks all the fun out of that rapper thing, but asterisk! At sign! Percent sign! Exclamation point! Ampersand! Pound Sign! Dollar Sign! Asterisk! Percent sign! Ampersand! Exclamation point! That was hard to make. Sorry, that's a joke from this fanfic, that I've been reading lately. You'll enjoy it too, after you read our homemade fanfics of course! Anyway, X-Player is getting testy, so on with the fics!

Yoshi's Island (Official Site) - The original "Yoshi's Island" fanfic. If you've made it this far into the web site, I won't bother explaining it to you. Mario and friends are stranded on an island, you know the drill. The fanfic was originally planned to be posted on Nick.com (you'll notice that until the middle of the first chapter, it follows the same trend found in Cyberhick's earlier fanfics). When Cyberhick ran the original concept of the scene with Mr. Game & Watch and Kirby making "delicious lemonade" for everyone by his friend known on the internet as Princess Li, she gave the idea a, special touch. The original idea was that Mr. Game & Watch couldn't give Samus and Yoshi any to drink thanks to rules on the internet (another somehow juvenile attempt to riff a website), but Kirby didn't make the lemonade right, and it was salty and disgusting. Kirby whistled the theme song to Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (which actually got a mention later in the fanfic) as Mr. Game & Watch screamed. Apparently, Kirby didn't get to keep his treat, either.

The idea was changed drastically. Now, every male who drank it (with the exception of Yoshi, because Samus would need somebody to help her escape, and Cyberhick, because the real Cyberhick was denying the fact that he had a crush on a videogame character) was going crazy for Samus! Why? Because instead of adding too much garlic, Kirby accidentally made a high-sodium love potion! And then, Cyberhick found his true calling - not to write mildly juvenile and wholesome fanfics, but to write juvenile and inappropriate fanfics! Thanks to his apparent discovery, he added his own touch. The blazing heat rendered a mirage of, videogame chicks! Cyberhick succeeded in evenness in every other chapter, with a delicate mixture of wholesome juvenile style and a very similar, not so wholesome style. The result was a hit among Cyberhick's friends and family, and the fanfic's internet home was also catapulted to a roster of major search engines. Some scenes were cut from this final version, and Darth Katana even rendered a rather accurate impression of a scene originally censored, with Cyberhick crossdressing. And so, enjoy the final version, it's a classic!

Yoshi's Island 2 (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) - A rather annoying "sequel" to the lovely Yoshi's Island fanfic. There isn't much humor, there were like two funny jokes in the entire fanfic, and the rest focuses on "My Life as a Teenage Robot", "Fairly OddParents" and other Nickelodeon sludge, rather than classic gaming. There, are, however, well-written throwbacks to the original, an oasis in the middle of Cyberhick's otherwise unacceptable desert. You'll only enjoy this fanfic if you're the kind of fanatic you read about in "Pokémon Fan".

Yoshi's Island Survivor (1, 2) - The ongoing sequel and "improvement" of the gem Yoshi's Island. If you enjoyed the original, this fanfic should offer mild enjoyment. If you liked Yoshi's Island 2 at all, then this fanfic will leave you laughing like a madman, and you'll die of a heart-attack reading it.

Race Kars (a.k.a. 2Fast 2Fanfic) - An amusing fanfic by Cyberhick. It focuses on juvenile humor and cheap laughs. The racing scenes are decently written, and you'll see trails of Cyberhick's sense of humor in Yoshi's Island, after experiencing the irresistably hit-and-miss 2nd grade humor and the constant jokes involving preschool shows, seen in this fic. Btw, there are references to this fanfic in Yoshi's Island and the sequel.

Mario's Time Machine! - This is one of the greatest fanfics we have to offer, not because it is particularly funny, but Cyberhick reveals his true essence of dweebism. Being a dweeb is what we're all about. This fanfic uses the Yoshitext Markup Language, a riff at Hypertext Markup Language (html), which only a true dweeb will find any humor in. You'll also notice rather inaccurate references to Mario and Nintendo's history. Which defines our definition of dweeb, a dweeb is below a geek, a dweeb is a geek-to-be or just a geek with no really special knowledge. If you're cool or popular, well, I don't know what you're doing here, but you probably won't laugh. You might get a spiteful laugh, though.

Mr. Mario's Day-Off - This is Cyberhick's first-ever dabble into fanfiction, besides a short story he had written on paper, which was based on the "Donkey Kong Country" tv series and had Donkey Kong in the shoes of George of It's a Wonderful Life. What can I say about it, other than that the title is supposed to be a Fredis Bueller's Day-Off riff? Well, much like Richard Doddridge Blackmore (author of Lorna Doone), what Cyberhick likes clearly shows in his work. Cyberhick, much like myself, is a Dog fancier. Only Cyberhick knows what he's talking about. I'm personally scratching my head over the "American Eskimo Dog".

This fanfic focuses on different lifestyles and personalities, as you'll see Mario in it is a very smart person, Kirby's personality is based on that of a secondary character of the movie "Soccer Dog" and Yoshi is more like he is in the games, only kinda scheming. This fanfic has suspense down, but it isn't very funny to anyone except a Dog fancier. The ending is inspired by "Dumb & Dumber".

Kirby's Big Adventure (1, 2) - A fanfic that a Kirby wizard named Jaz co-wrote with our own Cyberhick. You'll notice a much more sophisticated flare in this fanfic than in perhaps Mario's Time Machine, coming from Jaz. He also accomplishes a more videogame setting for this fic than Cyberhick is known for. For instance, rather than bluntly including a real-life eating establishment such as Burger King, Jaz creates a Popstar themed restaraunt. You will notice good teamwork, quality against quirky, such as the Earth host of the fanfic, named after the co-writer, who is an undeniable combination of both writers. Thanks to limited goodwill, the fanfic was discontinued early enough for it to be unnamed. Likewise, you'll notice more of Cyberhick's work later on in the fanfic. The name its given here is unofficial, and derived from a Klik & Play game from Cyberhick himself.

Sonic's Journey Into Randomness! (1) - Yes, after numerous fanfics, Videogame Fandatabase is still skimming the basics of the fan fiction category. In fact, this is not only our sole "random ficcy" representative, but this fanfic also serves as our debut Sonic the Hedgehog fanfic, written by none other than Rcfan! The writer's latest masterpiece takes after her work on our own Yoshi's Island, that catapulted the fanfic to stardom, but this time Rcfan's trademark humor is in total control of quite possibly the most random "random ficcy" in the history of the blue blur. This fanfic made its debut on Sega.com's forums.
