The Devil's Triangle is loaded with all kinds of surprises and such!  It's up to you to identify everything I've hidden!  Send an e-mailto datadogg@hotmail.com to add your contribution to this page!

EASTER EGGS!

-In part 2, click on the top left corner followed by the bottomright of the opening screen to activate a cheesy little jukebox.  -In part 3, double right-click on Guybrush when he is hanging off the bridge to activate a secret mini-game!
-You can actually die in this game.  After spending 10 minutes being keelhauled, Guybrush will bloat up and express his last words...

REFERENCES

-An obvious reference to LEC's habit of hiding Max Rabbits in every one of their games, Guybrush comes across a giant Max face while on the Devil's mountain and comments that they're just not trying anymore.  -The Part 3 Secret Mini-game is obviously a parody of "WhoWants to be a Millionaire?" entitled "Who Wants to be a Buccaneer?"
-Manuel Calavera and Bruno Martinez, from Grim Fandango can be found in the Deep Blue Sea Cafe in Part2, except that now they are alive.  If you wait thirty seconds, youcan hear a short conversation between them.   -When Guybrush encounters the real Devil in the mountain, it is a reference to The Wizard of Oz.
-During the ending scene, we see Herman Toothrot talking to Gilligan and the Skipper from Gilligan's Island.  He then mentions Mr. Rourke from Fantasy Island -Also during the ending sequence, we see Stan being held at gunpoint  by an FBI agent.  Stan proceeds to leaping off a sewer waterfall. This is a reference to the famous scene in The Fugitive .
When Guybrush busts through the grating to get to the prison hold where Jan and co are (in the third part, after the sewer maze), he yells out "Heeeeere's Johnny!" This is a reference to The Shining, when Jack Nicholson busts through the door with the axe.

TRIVIA

-When Guybrush is suspended off the tree fort by Captain Walker,he shouts "Holy Sweet Mother of Edward Teach!"  Edward Teach is thereal name of the famous pirate Blackbeard.  -In the original Big Whoop Chronicles, Guybrush was meant to continue on his adventures with this crew into "The Youth Conquest."  However, I thought it would be better if I edited the complete plot so that it would blend into the opening of LeChuck's Revenge instead.
-In the original novel, Jan's name was Jan McDarcie, later revealed to be Walker's daughter.  Why I changed it?  Beats me.  -There was also no Iron Shark in the original novel.  It was just a stupid boat.
-Frank Oz , Calista Flockheart, and Jim Carrey really didn't play any of the characters.  I know this is quite obvious, but some people are just too dumb to catch on. -The character of Bush-Bush was created by my dad. He couldn't stand the absurdity of Guybrush's name and blurted the first thing off the top of his head whenever he heard about my game. That thing was "Bush-Bush."
