This gets easier once you realize that you can just land your cactus on the ground if you're worried about going out of control, and you don't even have to land rightside up!
Played for a little bit and got a score of 18.

Try to balance your cactus
Try to balance your cactus upright before you thrust. Avoid messing with the controls too much while airborne, especially turning. Let the cactus plop on the ground and repeat.

Yeah, I agree with bpseudopod. This game is easier to imagine the conception of than _Four Drill Bits_. that is not a judgement on either game, just an observation.
