It reminds me of how Silent Hill 2? has different endings by like, the different things you could do and not know you're doing anything. The color pallet is very evocative. Sounds nice, makes me want to do this, you know, go to a place like this, like a lake/ocean deal. Is this based on a specific place or just an imagination? It feels like it is pretty specific enough to be it's own place.
thanks for playing! i don't think it's based on a specific place, but it's definitely drawn from images of the midwest and washington rivers i've dipped my feet into. and yeah, i really couldn't think of a good way to "end" it besides what i did... i started with the paths branching up and down and couldn't figure out how to funnel the player down into an ending.
