The Klik of the Month Klub meets right here on this very website on the third Saturday of every month at 4pm Pacific Time (taking daylight savings into consideration) for a two hour Klik & Play Showdown. Everyone who participates gets two hours to create something from scratch in Klik & Play. Abusing the stock objects is encouraged. If you really loathe Klik & Play you can use whatever game development platform you want. Two hours is a pretty tight time limit, though, so choose wisely!
Klik & Play is absolutely free to download, and learning it takes minutes, so everyone can get in on the action.

There's a refractory period of like 45 days before you can make another Klik masterpiece like that.

After reading McFunkypants' post over at Ludum Dare, I've decided to give this a shot. I mean, seriously, TWO HOURS? Anyone that can't participate in a game dev competition this short better have a good reason :P

In the past year I've frequently gone over the time limit, but ever since last month I've decided to play by the rules again, and I am thus now making legitimate garbage in TGF and actually trying to get things done within the two hours given.
With the right tool, you might be surprised by how much you can produce in such a short timespan. Even if you don't get the thing finished, you might want to just upload your unfinished crap as-is. This tends to produce some hilarious results, as seen in Exhibit A.
KotMK is intended for
KotMK is intended for creating new games, whereas the Development Diaries and Forums are typically where one would go to upload pre-existing creations.
Having said that, I doubt anyone would mind if you uploaded older games to the KotMK page. After all, it's where everyone looks for games and you're more likely to get exposure that way (I personally can't really stand going through the effort of making a game if nobody's going to play it). mojofltr did something sort of similar for his collection of Klik & Play reimplementations of various well-known games.
Edit: By the way, be sure to join the party on IRC come time for the event.

I fear I'll miss this again. Man, having a life sucks.

Aww man...
I cannot join you in this "2-hour madness" because i have something to do today. so i'm just posting games i made last week. i'm sorry guys...
And i don`t know why the hell there is an image saying ''GHOST ATTACK" in one of my games.
My game went nowhere...
Had a bad idea - went no where better and wasn't even funny... ^^; Oh well, maybe next time.

It seems to be a glitch with thumbnailing when multiple users upload a screenshot with the same filename.
Speaking of, there's also a glitch with thumbnailing where BMP files aren't actually thumbnailed (they stay their original size, causing the layout to go nasty). Workaround is to not use BMP files, because BMP sucks anyway.
The "Glorious" Space Shooter v1 is complete.
I spent a little extra time working on this today since I just barely figured out how to add text and counter objects >_>
Yes, I spent over two hours, but I've definitely got a better grip on the program now :D
(also, the bullet placement glitch really makes me wanna try a simple rhythm game in KNP now)
Oh think i got it. everybody
Oh think i got it. everybody uses .png extension to their screenshots. i was wondering how can i get an image to be ''thumbnailed'' and at the same time, ''normal-sized'' when someone access the game page. it's something about .PNG?
Yes, upload a normal-sized
Yes, upload a normal-sized screenshot as a PNG (and try to name it after your game to avoid name conflicts).
