I attempted a knp zombie lightgun game with flc transitions a while back. All you end up with are gigantic files or postage stamp screens. Usually both.
The Games Factory expanded on Klik & Play's FLC/FLI capabilities a bit, adding a few extra video formats and allowing you to place videos inside standard levels rather than having them be their own separate frames.
TGF added a lot of neat stuff, actually, and I'm surprised it isn't as easily accessible as KnP is. Hmm, maybe someday...
