I never knew Game Maker

I never knew Game Maker caused such problems. Guess maybe I'm done with Glorious Trainwrecks?

Or I'll just warn people that's what I used from now on. If that's acceptable compromise.

If Game Maker is all you

If Game Maker is all you have, then use Game Maker. If you know how to use something else, it would be nice if you used that instead, but you don't have to.

Remember that I am a bearded git, and bearded gits are prone to blowing their tops. Also remember that I am the only Linux user on this site. You don't have to cater to me.

P.S. Doesn't Game Maker have HTML5 export? Perhaps you could use that?

I'll check to see if there

I'll check to see if there is an HTML5 option. I believe there is. I'll try to submit/supplement in that fashion from here on out, or maybe even retroactively, for my last few entries. I'm all for more options.

Yeah, Game Maker's what I got, and what I like to work in.

Only a hundred dollars! I

Only a hundred dollars!

I understand the drive to stay with gamemaker, it is fast as balls to develop in.

Why must developers monetize

Why must developers monetize on the ability for people to actually play games on their platform?

jonbro's picture

because that is the most

because that is the most valuable thing! second most valuable is people playing their own games.

these paintbrushes paint

For what it's worth, I was

For what it's worth, I was able to get this game to run. The problem was a faulty new version of Wine.

Edit: Sound working now with some lag.
