i just realized GDC is going on so WHAT is going on. i want DETAILS. are we there? i want pictures. is there a web cam stream? what is just going on. everything is idling again in IRC. ardsfsdfh

As I understand it, the subevent that the Kart will be shown at is GDC Play, which is open March 6th, 7th, and 8th. I expect we'll hear some good reports coming in when it happens. If not around here, subscribe to as many Wreckers as you can find on Twitter.

Pirate Kart-wise you haven't missed anything yet since GDC Play doesn't start til tuesday. We tested the streaming and it seems to be working and SpindleyQ got a non-streamed screen capture working too (for time lapsing, no real-speed video of that part). (have low expectations, it's in a horrible corner of GDC where no one goes)

i suppose thats because its a LIVE FEED and no one is doing stuff right now. but those are getting recorded so i can also watch them LATER because of time zone trouble, right?

Yes! Syncing them up with the video looks like it will be a shit-ton of work, so... not it. I'll at least put together a timelapse of the screenshots we took without the camera matched up. And if anyone wants those screenshots, I'll try to upload them somewhere after GDC.
