So I found out NASA was hosting a game jam near me, ON MY BIRTHDAY, and I was like OMG that's perfect and cancelled all my plans for that weekend. Except I wasn't paying attention and didn't realize you had get a ticket to the jam. By the time I realized this they were full. Oops. So I am organizing what I am calling the…

"KICKED OUT OF NASA" GAME JAM

ALSO IT'S MY 30TH BIRTHDAY

On March 9, 2013. If you want to participate, just make a game that day and submit using this form (if you select "Created For: Kicked Out Of NASA" it will appear below this announcement).

Since the idea of the jam is that we are everyone who couldn't get into the NASA jam, your recommended themes are:

  1. Outsider science / outsider scientists
  2. Excluded from space

Or whatever. My game is going to be about rainbows.

I want to make a game for this jam that is about being excluded from culture rather than from space, but 1. I probably won't be able to make it within the time frame, and 2. I don't think I have the guts to make it period.

to phrase it so that "excluded from space" could be interpreted a few different ways

Since this is for people

Since this is for people that can't get into the NASA jam we should all make games that espouse intelligent design theories because that is science that facts can't get into.
