Klik and Play 2

Hello all,
I am Francois Lionet from Clickteam, one of the authors (with Yves Lamoureux) of Klik and Play.
I have the great pleasure to announce that Clickteam is working on Klik and Play 2. It will be online, and very modern.
You can have a peek at the current version at www.clickteam.com/Klik and Play
This demo version uses a metro skin, but you will be able to change it (for example for a Mac look). It will have Box2D movements and a lot of exiting features.
Go to this address to follow the developpement : I will post new versions regularly.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaah, this is amazing!

But I thought that "Klik & Play 2" was supposed to be the tentative title for Click & Create/The Games Factory 1? I just remember seeing a reference to "Klik & Play 2" inside the TGF1 Advanced Techniques (specifically, the one about scrolling). Still!

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be working here. I see a loading ticker for a second and then a blank white screen.

So great to hear from you again, Francois! I'm very excited by your announcement.

There's a bug in loading the settings from HTML5 local storage; it is doing (paraphrasing) localStorage['UserSettings'] == 'undefined' rather than typeof(localStorage['UserSettings']) == 'undefined'.

You can type javascript:localStorage['UserSettings'] = 'undefined'; in the address bar and reload to make it work.

It works perfectly here. The page's address is "www.clickteam.com/Klik and Play"
Clicking on it will only enter half the url, you have to cut and past the url entierely.

I think this is a good news. I'll keep you posted on the progresses as they arrive...

Hello,

I corrected the JavaScript problem when loading the page. It is OK now. Thank you for helping me with this : JavaScript is rather new to me, I need to master it.
Yes, the URL is "www.clickteam.com/Klik and Play"
I will update the page regularly with new versions as they progress, so keep posted!
