Agrovania is actually a horrible name for this game, but it's the name i based the game around. Little platforming thing.
crediting people on freesound who i took the sounds from: iluppai, porphyr, seansecret, juskiddink
thanks, though i did take all the sounds from freesound except for the clock ticking which was audacity's click track, i should probably credit the people
The normal jump sound is just lovely while jumping. The super jump is very satisfying as well (sort of reminded me of some of the animation/movement in Cave Story). The platforming at the end took me a few minutes haha
yeah, the speeds of the platforms are random and i threw them around kind of randomly, with that fork thing in the middle, i didn't realize that would be a little tricky. i don't usually like difficulty spikes in games, so i dunno. i always forget about cave story, it was one of the only games that ran on my really old computer 2 years back. i was obsessed with it while i was playing, but it's not really personal or unique enough to me for it to be one of the first games i think of when i think of my favorite games. I know that's because it's sort of supposed to be a homage, and it still is really really great, but it didn't have a lasting impression on me the same way other things did, though that might just be because the final 2 bosses were too hard for me so i watched the ending online. maybe i'd change my opinion if i replayed it and found the secret-ish bit where you save curly, with all those weird weapon upgrades.
nice atmosphere i played for like 5 minutes because i gotta get of my computer. i enjoyed the clock ticking and the rain. nicely animated character too, satisfying to watch the guy jumping around against the large environment

I loved the character
I loved the character animation and sound effects, incidental stuff like the clock ticking was great too. The ending... surprised me.

Yeah, I really enjoyed the ambient sound work in this game. Actually all of your games do a great job with that.
