This project was *technically* made for a brief at University but I was able to convince them to allow me to deviate from the brief and prototype a game I wanna make in the future. This is also the first game I've ever made, like, ever.
This ran over. I started at 4, when I was supposed to start ("started" loosely, I sat around being fucked up for half an hour) but instead of finishing at 6 I finished at 8. Oh well!
This is a prototype for a more complicated game I'm planning to make and name The Nervous System. In its current form, it's basically a slightly weird form of Snake.
Mac and Windows versions included. My score was 25.
EDIT: PS, source code https://bitbucket.org/runhello/nervous
Left click to potion. Right click to trigger. Get gold. Rock on.
An extremely rare prototype beta was just unearthed! This here is the Sonic Cookies beta that was slated to become a sequel to Knuckles Chaotix. The game was being developed for the doomed 64X console add-on for the Sega Genesis before both were canned by Sega. This is a grand opportunity to experience one of gaming history's greatest secrets! It's a prototype though, so expect serious issues.
All I got done is a one-screen prototype. The final thing would involve a multi-screen base that you disable, then enter inside.
There are three shot sizes. When shots of the same size collide they create a bigger shot.
