A small toylike game about creating colours I made in 30 minutes
Just made this and I gotta go now i have a party to attend yay
I've been doing the one hour game jam the past few weeks, it's pretty fun! I thought this one turned out pretty well so I thought I'd post it here. Unity is a tough tool to use for such a tight time constraint, I find myself putting a lot of work into figuring out what I can actually get unity to do in that time frame rather than working from any particular idea. Still, sometimes it pushes you to use your tools more creatively than you might otherwise do. The theme this week was "two colors." A benefit of making very abstract games is that you don't have to go much out of your way to make your game fit the theme.
50 executables with 1 level each containing a number built in that level
and also other set differences like player size, jump height and colour palette.
There are no goals just seeing what possible outcomes there can be.
enjoy!
Single player or Multiplayer!
It even plays itself!
Thanks to Nikki and Sergio for talking me out of having a violent image in this game!
Short action/arcade/high-score game.
Inspired by the appropriation of African American culture in the witch house genre of electronic music. Fighting games/90's Capcom games take the place of trap music and action/arcade takes the place of electronic/house music.
The Mac and PC versions are different as the PC version has a paste to background effect.
Portrait of a hustling bustling city, from the eyes of a pigeon. Musical pilotwings. Avian jet set radio. Hold space to fly, release to coast & land. Mostly it was an excuse to use the new terrain generator I downloaded, and also to test out this bird controller, which I think came out pretty well. I especially wanted to test out techniques for landing on stuff, so be sure to try that out. To land on stuff, point at a surface and let go of space. You should automatically find a good spot and move there. If you try to move on something that's moving, though, it gets weird.
This is the song & title, if you're curious: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-VsmF9m_Nt8
