It's Not Complicated

COVER_ART.png

It's actually quite simple!

NOT.

Here we go, I found something to do in Flickgame!
This game is totally artistic. I recently concluded that the world isn't really that complicated after all. Until I explain what I mean exactly, because then you're gonna disagree. And it's not gonna be simple anymore. So I'm not gonna do that. Here I tried to engage into some reductionism and of course failed. The caveats would always be there. Anyway. This thing here... it does say something, I would say! Let me think... it's about privilege? Cognitive dissonance? Maybe! Who knows. After all, you can only say this is a game about that vague idea I had in mind if I manage to successfully convey that idea. Otherwise it becomes a game about something else or nothing.

Give me your artistic analysis, you beautiful people.

Politikula

politamok.png

You are a young and ambitious sphere who feels ready to run for the president. Can you get the support of the majority in a country of two strongly opposing factions? Find out in this action puzzle game than only uses dark blue, yellow and magenta colors unless it uses gray. I made this game in two days after spending several days on having good intentions and producing absolutely nothing. Challenge yourself and spend ten minutes on this!

Or five minutes and fifty seconds. If you win the game this fast, you will be better than me.

Small Mammals and Progress

SMAP.png

As complex as a flickgame gets. Confusing. Ambiguous.

Trainwrecks are art (at least mine are, but I'm pretty sure all other trainwrecks are art too, including even those that are definitely not, and excluding a professional-looking game of some dude who is more popular than me in some other circles that got no comments at all, hahaha serves him right for being successful), so provide some artistic analysis!

Check it out, or at least read the tags.

Also there's a cheat option implemented so don't use it.

Never Be Here: The TEASER

nbhteaser2023.png

This is a little piece of a game that I'm not going to release anytime soon.
While I removed a large amount of content, there's also content that I simply blocked off.
In the Teaser, you will walk through some of the maps and be snatched off them just as it gets interesting.
You will be able to see some inaccessible parts behind walls which I think is really cool.
There is also commentary.
You will also get a Debug Device (you will need to find out which key activates it) that makes it possible to access all the teaser's content without having to modify the game.
You can see the items you collected by selecting Itembook from the escape menu. You can acquire the Item Guidebook by noclipping and talking to a glitched guy in the southeast corner of the map with the Mario trivia graphic, or by manually turning off the boolean ("Switch") #33. Both actions require Debug Device.

The game itself is mostly a walking simulator in the form you will see it, but you will also have a challenge section and you can even die.

I hope I'll get you hyped with my eloquence and architecture.

(This game requires no RTP, but it doesn't have the whole thing merged with the game either. Isn't that great.)

Proper

proper5.png

Proper is a game about behaving appropriate to the situation, being a respectable individual, doing things properly and leaving the room before you need to face the consequences of inevitably failing the former three. Save the game to preserve your high scores!
