Logi is
an expense tracking application that runs on
Pocket PCs and on the Casio BE-300 PDA. In
principle it is based on the expense tracking
application built-in the Casio PVS-450 Pocket
Viewer. It allows 15 user-defined expense
categories, 15 user defined payment-categories and
tt can report give expense on a specific date-range grouped
by expense or payment type.
To make sure that you
download the version you need, I have prepared five download
packages:
logi_arm.zip: For PPC devices with the ARM processor (e.g. iPAQ)
logi_mips.zip: For PPC devices with the MIPS processor (e.g. Casio E-125)
logi_sh3.zip: For PPC devices with the SH3 processor (e.g. Jornada 548)
logi.zip: For the Casio BE-300. It contains only the executable file, without
the eVB runtime and the DLLs needed (MSCEFile.dll and MSGrid.dll). Download this if
you have installed a previous version of Logi.
logifull.zip: For the Casio BE-300. It contains all files that are needed
to run the application. Please keep in mind that the BE versions have only been
tested with XPod, an alternative OS/shell for
this PDA. I think though that it would work with the standard Casio OS. |

Opera Export Tool v1.0
(25/6/2002)
download (11Kb)
|
This
little tool is used to export the hot
list file of Opera (a good alternative
internet browser - see the essential section
for details) to a standard HTML file for
quick viewing and possible use on other
browsers.
It comes
in two versions, one running with a
simple Win32 GUI and the other as a
command-line tool. Both versions are
included in the tiny archive. |

tessera v1.8a
(7/4/2002)
download game

Tessera
is my version of Connect-4. It has a nice
interface with raytraced graphics, it is
small to download, it has an advanced AI
playing algorithm, 3 computer levels,
digital background music and it supports
mouse and keyboard input. Tessera has
been developed using MingW and Allegro.
It is using Keith Pomakis' connect-n
algorithm for its AI player. Oh, by the
way, 'tessera' is a greek word meaning
'four'. Now it makes sense, doesn't
it?
The last
version of the game (v1.8a) has slightly
harder AI and is compiled using Allegro
v4.01. Gaining some recognition, it has
been included to the Absolute Free
Software No. 1 CD collection, distributed
by Primetime
software. |

Is this... the end?
(v1.8 - 6/6/2001)
download game
(1735Kb)
|
Is
this... the end? is a shoot-em up game
that tries to capture the feeling of old
classics, like Galaga and Space Invaders,
and enhance the experience with modern
graphical, audio and gameplay elements.
The latest version (v1.8) has a launcher
tool to access start-up options, like
graphic resolutions and modes, 3
difficulty settings, since many people
found the game very hard, some speed
optimizations and many other small
improvements. It was compiled with MingW
and Allegro 3.9.35, it needs DirectX 7
and runs under Windows.
The
homepage of the game, who once was hosted
in XOOM, has dissappeared, so this page
is the current "official" download
site.

Note That! v1.5
(18/5/2001)
download program
(258Kb) download source code

Note
That! is a simple and compact program
which allows you to keep notes on your
desktop. Upon start-up it automatically
loads your notes file and it
automatically saves it before exiting.
The interface language can be set to
Greek, English or Greeklish. The
program's window can be shrunk to its
title bar, so that it does not take up
valuable desktop space. A text search
mode is also available.
Note That!
has been developed using Rapid-Q. Go to
the programming section of this page to
find out more about it. Many thanks must
go to Mesut Akcan for correcting a
serious bug in my program termination
code.

code of Note That! (v1.5) is now

E-Chaos! v1.0
(4/1/2001)
download program
(350Kb)
|
E-chaos
is a program that converts text between
Greek and "Greeklish". For those who do
not know, Greeklish is an inventive way
to write greek using latin letters. Lack
of support for greek characters has made
Greeklish quite popular for some time,
especially in e-mail and IRC. Today,
greek support is embedded (or added
externally) in most operating systems and
thus Greeklish is not used as
extensively. E-Chaos can convert from
Greek to Greeklish and vice-versa. It
supports the Windows clipboard and the
interface language is selectable, between
Greek and English. It is written using
Rapid-Q.
Please note: Some antivirus
utilities report Rapid-Q executables as
infected, while others, like Norton
Antivirus, do not complain. Apparently
there is no virus at all, but probably a
conflict with the way Rapid-Q compiles
its output. I never had any problems in
my computers developing and running
Rapid-Q programs, nor had anybody else. I
certainly won't accept any responsibility
if something bad happens, but I find it
highly unlikely.
