so, we're plural

hey everybody, corvin here today. maybe some of y'all have noticed us, as mno, attributing our recent games to a more or different people than simply "nikki", or how we often sign our comments these days with a name. we're doing that because we're not just one person, it turns out, but a bunch of them sharing the same body. a plural system, in other words. if you want to know more, this is a pretty good page: https://morethanone.info/# and we have our own system page over here: https://skirtdingo.neocities.org/plural.html. also for context, our current avatar displays nikki specifically- we will

so, what's gonna be different from now on? not much other than what I said above. **EDIT: we have changed our account name from "mno" to "spiral", as that is our collective system name. if you don't know who you're referring to at any moment, please simply call us "spiral"**. if a game is made by or a comment is signed by a particular one of us, please address your responses to them, not to "nikki" by default. and that's about all we ask for, in addition to the respect and understanding we'd ask for to and from anybody.

what's different about the past? we're gonna assume any comment or work by us prior to 2020 can be safely attributed to nikki. we've been self-aware for a little over a year now, but it's not easy to disentangle who was who when retroactively. we're also not gonna try to edit our old games and posts to be more specific about who did or said what, for the same reason.

if u have any questions feel free to ask here. thanks y'all for being such a good community for us!!

Closing :

I'm sure this game may draw comparasions to Undertale, but I think that game is old hat by now. I suggest that Moon Remix RPG Adventure informed this work more.

Gallery/Babycastles Version: love-game.net/JIGGLYZONE_BABY.zip (last updated March 22, 2018, 5:53 PM EST)
This version contains some small changes to make things work more smoothly in a gallery-type setting.
If needed, additional changes can be made upon request (message @sylviefluff on Twitter or just post here).

  • The game defaults to fullscreen.
  • On the title screen, "New Game" is selected by default instead of "Load Game" (but players can continue where the previous person left off if they want!)
  • The options menu is opened by holding Ctrl+O for three seconds rather than just pressing O, so that players are less likely to find it and mess around with it.

Makega.me is closed so what other community is left?

Hi all ! I took some distance from the game-making frenzy the past last years and few days ago I had the displeasure to see that the makega.me forums are down! Hopefully Glorioustrainwrecks is still up and running, but where else is the fun happening now? makega.me was not very active but it was my favorite place (along with GT) in terms of contents and member behaviour

Invisible Asteroids

I was going to make some kind of asteroids game. I tested it before I had the screen clearing every frame, and ended up making a game around the drawing with game objects.

Dust Prototype

dustprototype.png

This prototype is basically a fangame of James Burton's Stardust. But rather than being a straight puzzle game, this is intended as "a puzzle game, without the thinking". dess once described suteF as a game where the player is in a perpetual state of semi-confusion, where all they can do is stumble forward through a meager set of possible moves, only ever partially understanding what's going on. This is the sort of counterintuitive anti-friendly design principle I am hoping to capture with this game.

Choose a level file when you start up.
You must guide the blue person to the blue goal, and then the red person to the red goal.

Left, right: move.
Space: trigger the block that you are standing on. Each block has a different effect when triggered.
Press R to restart. (You'll have to press it if you fall out of bounds.)
