Assassin puppets are dancing all around. They want your flesh! Arrow keys to move.
This is a topic for discussing and planning Glorious Trainwrecks-related events, box socials, hoedowns, dramatic recitals, etc. Rally the troops! I got two things to put forth.
THING THE FIRST:
Is there interest in making the Ladies' Auxiliary a regularly scheduled event? It'd be cool to have an official alternative Klik for the differently-time zoned (with a bit of advance warning, unlike the last two!) It could be held on a two-week offset from the vanilla KotM, to space it out for the keen and sleepless who want to hit up both.
(Incidentally, can all users post events? I AM DISCONNECTED FROM THE PROLETARIAT.)
THING THE SECOND:
Next weekend is motherfriggin' HALLOWEEKEND. Consequently, I am planning to squat in the IRC channel and hammer out as many games as I can over a 48-hour period while simultaneously drinking and/or crying in the bathtub. WILL YOU JOIN ME IN MY QUEST?
HEADS UP! If you just want to play the game, go to the itch.io link above. The downloadable file contains the source files, and you have to start a local HTTP server (y'know, python -m http.server
) to play it. Check out the readme for full credits and dev notes!
A frantic gather-em-up about the bourgeois norms of lawncare. Can YOU gather enough apples to feed your hungry pal?
Click the link above for everything you need to know about Mr Babbo, or download and play immediately and don't pay attention to words on your screen.
Actually how about I give you more details about what went into this:
This is easily my largest game yet, and one of the biggest projects I've finished. I've learned a lot on the way, and had much fun! I hope you all enjoy!! Or at least some of you. A lot of time, effort, and tears (maybe) has gone into it, and I think everything I've made for it reflects a lot of myself. Think of that what you will.
And before you ask: the gif above, sadly, does not reflect the actual game strongly. I just put that together for fun.
If you are interested in working with the source and/or peeking at the secrets like the bad player you are, keep in mind that this was edited for release in The Games Factory 1, which isn't as easy to get as Klik'N'Play. I have no idea how backwards compatible this version would be in KNP, and I do know a couple changes I've made would mess it up in KNP a little. As such I've uploaded the slightly older KNP files, which you can nab here. One of the frames in this version crashes sometimes and I have not been able to fix this within KNP, sorry about that.
Clown make party... again. Have fun
Controls are arrow keys
you can't win. just pretend the rainbow door opens when you reach all 3 coloured rooms. :)
WASD too look around
Arrow keys to move
F to interact
theres all sorts of thingys in the woods
So my comment on Pizza Time's Monster Mash ideas and my love of Earth Defense Force 2017 has led me to
EARTH DEFENSE FORCE 1817
A KNP effort. The game play lacks that certain something, but it has some elements I dig:
* Robotron style controls
* Looming Alien Ships with Shadows
* Bugs who track you down but have to move around the buildings
I think some of these elements could be used in future games.
In the unlikely chance I can't make it to the KotM I'd like this to count as my entry...
