It's New Years Eve, 1991 and the Soviet Union has just collapsed. Many of the amateur street and rally racers have seized this opportunity to put their skills to the test like never before. Numerous gangs and factions have sprung up to compete in the cities, towns and forests throughout Russia, but rumors tell that the best racers have found their way to Kazan.
If you want to be allowed in to this not-so-underground society, you must prove your worth and your skill. Explore the city, find supplies, and scope out the area to learn which faction controls where. Then, provide them with the resources they need before offering them a race. If you can gain their respect, you can then work your way up and expand your notoriety across the city. Maybe a team will even accept you as own of their own drivers.

You must travel trough this strange land, filled with a completely uniform black terrain, in other words, i kinda suck at level design.
This is a one-button game of avoiding danger in a distant moon base. While its control scheme is familiar - press button to make the spinning craft move forward - the wrinkle is that it keeps spinning even while moving, so you'll be constantly moving in wide arcs. Be careful, and watch out for those cannons!
This is loosely inspired by the Taito arcade game Volfied in scenario.
This is an untitled artgame about the horrors of war. There is no way to win. This game also features death, which is a complex moral choice never attempted before by any medium. This is the only alternative you have besides witnessing the horror you have unleashed and all the lives you have taken. Again, please be aware that this game is art.

The end date for the Rosetta stone game jam used to be 20 May 2018. To allow people to finish their games, the end date is now on N-Day. Once enough people have said that their games are complete, a vote for N-Day will start. Until then, the document will not be destroyed, and no one should upload their games. DO NOT UPLOAD YOUR GAMES UNTIL WE ALL AGREE ON N-DAY. Communication is easier on the discord, but I'll make sure to keep everyone updated through gt messages.
Premise:
There will be a shared dictionary document with grammar and sentence structure examples. Games created in this jam should only use words defined in the document. If you want to use a word that isn't in the dictionary, make up a word and add it to the dictionary. In this way, a language is created. Only people who sign up to the jam will have access to the document. The document will be destroyed once the game jam is completed. Those who attempt to preserve the document will be punished.
The language will probably use English characters, to make it easier on the developers.
Also, the games don't necessarily have to help the player learn the language in any way, although a teaching game may be interesting.
Stage I Complete: (26 March - 20 April)
People who intended to participate should have left a comment expressing their interest. Comments should have suggested a theme for the games.
Stage II: (20 April - N-Day)
The document will be sent out, only to those who left a comment.
Game creation starts.
Stage III: (N-Day- onwards)
Game creation ends.
The document is destroyed.
The games made for this jam become the only remaining trace of the language.
The jam is complete.
