You Have to Put the Candy Cane in the Stocking: A Christmas game

Merry Christmas, everyone! As a sort of Christmas present to you all, I'd like to share a Christmas-themed trainwreck with you all. It's yet another variation on You Have to Put the Ball in the Cup, only this time, you have to put a candy cane in a stocking. Very different. Anyway it's a text adventure/interactive fiction game so you'll need an interpreter to play blah blah blah. I think most of you know how these things work by now so I'll spare you the details.

(Also if you are looking for a sincere Christmas game instead of a joke one, I made this thingy a couple years back.)

C.E.J. Pacian

An ace fighter pilot with twenty-three confirmed victories, Pacian was ejected into our Universe when an apocalyptic Martian bombardment destroyed his own parallel world. Video game therapy intended to acclimatise this inter-dimensional traveller to our society and culture has so far proven at least partially successful.

klik & play mid/midi and sound effects

could any admin on the site please send an email to snapman to see if he is still around please I found this site on google, the node 197 page, and it said you have the original MID and sound effects from klik and play?

I can only find the schools version for download anywhere it looks like even most of the abandonware sites have unknowingly replaced it with that version not realising it is missing most of the content! :(

My parents bought it for me many years (about 10-15?) ago but I have no idea where the CD is now :(

WarioWare D.I.Y: Eat a Baby

eat-baby-thumb.gif

My first submission to WarioWare D.I.Y: The Last Hurrah is a remake of the snapman classic Eat a Baby or a Burglar. A tough moral decision awaits those who play, with some of the possible outcomes previewed above!

Want to play this game? You'll need to swap friend codes with me actually find me in person. Good luck with that.

Here's a Vine of the game in action.

For those with flashcarts/emulators/tools/more time on their hands, the .mio file for the game can be downloaded here.

Game File:

Each fish has a tiny chance of developing a mutation that will make it taste bad to the red fish.
Reproduce and let nature select the fitter fish!
Do your part to help your species evolve!

May take a long time. Or not. Due to randomness.

Fast Robots! (Bangai-O Spirits Level)

Bangai-O Spirits_45_9990.png

This is a level for the Nintendo DS game Bangai-O Spirits. This game's oft-touted "Sound Load" function allows the DS microphone to read this sound file from your computer and thus download the level.

If you think about it, FastBots are probably the most well-developed enemies in this game, in that you have to explicitly examine them and watch their actions to an even greater extent than Longai-O's, NinjaBots or BatBots. Their invincibility while lunging automatically forces you to be careful in deploying your EX, and their machine guns preclude a frontal assault or single body-barge as soon as they stop moving.

Presenting an Idea: The Glorious Trainwrecks Video Project

Ok guys, I'm here today to ask you one simple question, the question being "do you like this idea?".

...It's a bit early to be asking you that though so I am going to tell you what I have.

Introducing "The Glorious Trainwrecks Video Project" (GTVP for short)! The basic idea is that I create a YouTube channel for the site, we both agree on some kind of password so that the rest of the community can log into it and then we can upload videos of both Trainwrecks that we have made and also of Trainwrecks that others have made. The general (and very unrealistic) aim is to have EVERY SINGLE TRAINWRECK have a gameplay video on the channel. It'll take a long time to do it, but I think it could all be worth it in the end. Of course, there has to be some kind of good reason for all of this. Well, my reason is mainly so that not only have we got gameplay videos of our Trainwrecks on YouTube for all to see but we can show off EVERYTHING that our games have to offer, all the secrets, all the easter eggs and everything. On top of that, it's very good for those who can't run the Klik And Play games because they have a 64-bit system as well as people who just straight up can't be arsed to download and play the games themselves.

So? What do you think GT Community? Does it sound good?
