The Incredibly Stoopid Game

Game File:

I think I made this game back in '12.

Just walk off the screen.

It was a project so it wasn't that good.

Babies that have Rabies

Game File:

In 201X, a terrible epidemic hits the world, you are the ones save from it... can you make earth a place to live again?

This is how it goes in zecks games incs newest masterpiece, babiesthathaverabies (bthr), jou are cyperpolice john connor and the only who who can put stop to this mess. you use control and shit tho shoot and aim your remote control tourette. if you can make it you are a true saveior.

Note: sometimes the babies are so dumb that they run staight to their death at the beginning of the level. its particularly hilarious when it happens in the final boss.

Also, the sky level crashes a lot for some reason. sorry for that.

EDIT: Updated with a hopefully less crash prone version. It's also a bit "harder" in the first few levels.

Klik of the Month Klub #17

Sat, Nov 15 2008 05:00 PM
11/15/2008 - 16:00
Etc/GMT-8

The Klik of the Month Klub meets right here on this very website on the third Saturday of every month at 4pm Pacific Time (taking daylight savings into consideration) for a two hour Klik & Play Showdown. Everyone who participates gets two hours to create something from scratch in Klik & Play. Abusing the stock objects is encouraged. If you really loathe Klik & Play you can use whatever game development platform you want. Two hours is a pretty tight time limit, though, so choose wisely!

Klik & Play is absolutely free to download, and learning it takes minutes, so everyone can get in on the action. Want to talk to your fellow Klikwreckers? Join us on IRC -- server irc.freenode.net, channel #glorioustrainwrecks. Join the mayhem!

For more information, check out the KotM N00B FAQ.

Tree House

I was disappointed with my other entry for this Knytt of the Month, so I made another one. I'm a lot more pleased with this one, but be warned, it's still really short.

Upcoming weekend of/24 hours of/Blitzkrieg ZZT

I'm thinking about staging a ZZT jam for trainwreckers some weekend in May. I haven't made a game in ZZT in over 9 years and thought it might be fun to kind of go back to my roots. Anyone interested? Would it be best as a day thing, a weekend thing, or a 2-hour thing?

I was thinking about some sort of compilation with people making as many ZZT games as they can over the course of a day or weekend, kinda like a smaller scale Pirate Kart.

Two Bees...Or Not Two Bees (Psychosomnium Hack)

two bees.jpg

Two hacks of my favorite section of cactus’ game Psychomnium. For the first, I simply isolated the “bee” section, made it scroll, added a second checkpoint, and added a second bee. It’s extremely difficult, not impossible, super satisfying upon completion, and a perfect illustration of “masocore” design. Piano players might get a kick out of its requirement for two-handed dexterity. For the second, I used the same isolated, scrolling level and the extra checkpoint, but with a single bee and I modified the controls so that the bee accelerates upwards the entire time that the Up Arrow button is held down as opposed to the previous requirement for several distinct button presses. The idea is to illustrate just how much a seemingly minor control tweak can impact the “feel” of a game’s play. The game is currently Windows-only.
