So he has a mullet. And runs funny. And has this slightly cheesy/disturbing grin on his face. Always. And all he does is jog. That's the only animation he was ever given.

But I must digress. How the hell did the Yellow Jogger become a meme around here anyway?

I actually found the Yellow Jogger humorous before I came here, after having played Arf's game "El Loco Dumas". And when I arrived at Glorious Trainwrecks, it appeared to be an injoke here as well. But I don't understand! It's just a freaking sprite.

Or maybe the Yellow Jogger's grin is starting to make me insane.

He's more iconic/grotesque and more lively than most of the other sprites. He also has luck of the draw: when entering the level editor, he's one of the first recognizable things you see in the sidebar, along with the judge.

Hey, his arm swaying is wrong -- they move WITH the legs! I can't believe I never noticed that. Truly, Yellow Jogger is the Tommy Wiseau of KNP clipart

I thought the hyperspeed

I thought the hyperspeed fantasy characters qualify, particularily "Jester". He's always extremely fast. Perhaps Merlin casted haste on himself and the jester to piss off a king or something.

"Cop" is also related to "Yellow Runner" and don't forget "Black Runner" too (who by the way, is also black). There's also a black cheerleader with BLONDE HAIR, so I guess these are just ill attempts of Europress trying to make "American stuff"
