Behold ztaniel_wiquet's only(?) game, Skull Man and the Racing Cars
https://ztaniel-wiquet.itch.io/skull-man-and-the-racing-cars
This game has many features and I cannot beat the final boss for the life of me, I think it might be in fact impossible
This is my game for Denson.
Yeah, it's unfinished. Sorry about that... What happened is that at first I was going to make a text adventure, which i worked a little on, but then I changed my mind and made a Java game, which I worked a little on. Then I changed my mind AGAIN, to making a PuzzleScript game, and by then, more than half of the allotted time had passed. And I wasn't too exited to make the game... the wishlist kinda seems to call for a story-based game, and plot writing is not my strong suit...
As you can see, the internet ghost is the main mechanic of the game. (It's fucked up in the way that it kills whatever it passes over. Although not implemented, I was going to make it kill you if it passes over you.) I was thinking of making the ending of the game some sort of tragic event or something where the only way to finish is to do something that kills you in the process... maybe that's what makes some female (maybe the player's relative or friend or wife) incredibly sad, fulfilling the last wish item (which was in russian for some reason? maybe she'd be russian?)
By the way, here's Denson's wishlist: (yeah, i've only implemented one item so far...)
- christmas isnt celebrated here but everyones heard of it
Not implemented
- "its me, ur brother, have u forgotten me already?"
Planned
- someone called but didnt speak the language
- some kind of fucked up internet ghost
Main game mechanic
- interrupted mid sentence
- самое печальное в том, что она когда-либо слышал
Russian for: the saddest thing that she had ever heard
Planned: sad ending?
I'll probably work on the game more after now, so I'm really just submitting it now so nobody thinks I didn't make anything at all.
Some people just aren't prepared for the call to adventure.
Controls:
Arrows to do nothing
Z, X or space to do nothing
Mouse click to grab bricks, dollars or people.
You can only drag things for a limited time!
Journey through an infinite forest on an epic quest.
Hey, you! You're in charge of these while I go take lunch. Listen, though: don't drop 'em. Don't get them wet. Don't feed them after midnight. And, uh-- I think there was one other thing, maybe. It couldn't have been that important.
Are you a bum, a lion, or a charles? Do you communicate with fish, plants, or diamonds? What sports do you play that involve a hockey puck and hurdles and nets in the middle? Can you handle the pressure, pilgrim? What about the lack of plot, no set goals, and the fact that this is published to an event that ran last year?
Who knows if anyone will play it, or maybe they'll click on it before I fix the link to it. You are... Bum Charles.
Keys:
`1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 0 - SOUNDTEST
= frameskip BACKSPACE frameback
K pause music L Resume music
ARROW KEYS movement, mouse leftclick, game button one, spacebar - trigger ..
p - used a lot here.
Music Romantic Warrior by Return to Forever, Chick Corea's sweet beats can be heard here in alternative format. The real goal of this game changed when I heard this track and I did my best to make it sound as good as possible, choosing the right soundfont etc. It's all about the music.
The fairy from my previous game Catatoniac has returned to make amends for that trainwreck of an adventure. This time she's helping the victim of an execution get out of her poor situation, by clicking and dragging to throw her severed head like a ball.
Two different endings! I think.
EDIT: Updated 28/10/11 with more shortcuts.

spent the better part of the past week porting bulletml to lua. And then I made this horrible game with it in a few minutes. There are no win screens. Or lose screens.
here is the love file if you want the source, or the exe doesn't work (I couldn't get it to, but my windows install is jacked), everything is fine in the standard love though. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/43672/some_faces.love

Q: What is a Klik & Play Pirate Kart?
A Klik & Play Pirate Kart is a staggering collection of awesome and/or terrible games. All of the games are made in a single 48-hour period. No game is allowed to take more than two hours to make. Contributors continuously churn out games, non-stop, all weekend. When the weekend is over, the result is pure glory. It is an experience unlike anything else that has ever occurred on earth.
Q: Why 371 games?
In 2009, the Global Game Jam brought together more than 1600 people for a single 48 hour period, and the result was a measly 370 games. What a joke! If we had had 1600 people working on the first Pirate Kart, why, we could have easily produced 10,000 games! Glorious Trainwrecks Dot Com is hereby declaring QUANTITY WAR on the Global Game Jam.
Q: Who can contribute?
EVERYONE! Tell your friends! Tell your enemies! Tell your grandmother(s)! Our community has grown since the original Pirate
Kart, but 371 games in a single weekend is still an absurd goal, and we need all of the help we can muster. Luckily, anyone can learn Klik &
Play, and thus anyone can make games with us.
Q: How do I participate?
Remember: you want to make games at an impossible rate, spending no more than two hours apiece on them. Getting some practice in during the Klik of the Month Klub would be a good idea.
If you're not comfortable with IRC, we've set up a handy-dandy IRC Java applet that automatically connects you to your game-making brethren.
Q: How do I see the games people have made for the Pirate Kart?
An automatically generated list of games will be available at this link.
IT IS TIME ONCE AGAIN TO TAKE THE IMPOSSIBLE PLUNGE INTO GLORY!
