I was logged out earlier and noticed alot of the words were eater-of-meaning-ized.
Is this intenional?
Made in RPGM VXA - just a small game i made this morning
i like JRPG tropes: the idea of impossible foes/battles designed as real but are in fact scripted (to lose) and the idea of hero destiny (the heroes can't lose 'cause that's how the game was written) are common in JRPGs since their inception. i think it's pretty cool when you're playing a JRPG and you think it's a hopeless boss fight but it's just a really hard regular boss fight and you let the boss kill you.
the killers is also informed by the stories 'the killers' & 'a good man is hard to find'
thanks for playing (▰˘◡˘▰)
Arrows: move
Shift: slow movement (but it isn't really useful in the finished game, haha)
Avoid crashing! Shoot the walls for points! Super fast cave action!
Vaguely inspired by the scoring strategy for the first stage of Zed Blade: http://dic.nicovideo.jp/v/sm549412
EDIT: Oops I fixed a bug. It was supposed to be giving points relative to the scrolling speed instead of the bullet speed, but I forgot to put global.speed instead of speed. <_> (It is floor(global.speed)*8 per scenery shot now. :awesome:)
It's a game... Bunch of shadows. Kill things.
It's been awhiiiiiile
Hey, y'all. This is my first new (completed) game in two years. Snapped it together quickly.
This is a little bit Lemmings, a little bit The Incredible Machine, but you're running around with the little shadows trying to wrangle them into the right place.
Ten stages!
Hope you enjoy!
4/1/2015: UPDATE adds auto-save and level restart functions
my second flickgame, made using a hack to allow dithering
I need you to go to the forest. There's something in the forest. Please go to the forest.
Climb the 30-floor tower in this basic old-school platformer!
This is a sequel to Dodge Bouncing Balls. In this game, Alliteration Parley must puzzle out the identity of each of the bellyballs on screen. Use the sonar, carefully observe their responses, and then tag them with the correct colour to win.
This is inspired by Liquisity, Pac-Man, Hundreds and Finderseek.
Controls:
Arrow keys - Same as WASD
WASD - Same as DAWS
DAWS - Move Parley.
Click - Select weapon, use weapon.
Q on title screen - switch to different colouration. It's intended for colour-blind players, but I don't know how well it works...
Dudes we're totally on a new server. www.glorioustrainwrecks.com will be back up and running as soon as the DNS propogates and all that. Hopefully downtime shall be reduced!
