The Klik of the Month Klub meets right here on this very website on the third Saturday of every month at 4pm Pacific Time (taking daylight savings into consideration) for a two hour Klik & Play Showdown. Everyone who participates gets two hours to create something from scratch in Klik & Play. Abusing the stock objects is encouraged. If you really loathe Klik & Play you can use whatever game development platform you want. Two hours is a pretty tight time limit, though, so choose wisely!

Klik & Play is absolutely free to download, and learning it takes minutes, so everyone can get in on the action. Want to talk to your fellow Klikwreckers? Join us on IRC -- server irc.freenode.net, channel #glorioustrainwrecks. Join the mayhem!

After you've made your game, you should upload it here! You might also like to check out the list of games made for this event.

For more information, check out the KotM N00B FAQ.

Is the regular Klik of the Month Klub at an absurdly inconvenient time? Then try the Ladies' Auxiliary Klik of the Month Ball! (Ladies' Auxiliary Klik of the Month Ball is open to all genders and time zones.) The Ball takes place at 4PM GMT -- check that link to see what time that falls on for you.

The rules are the same: You get two hours to make a game in Klik & Play. If Klik & Play is a hindrance rather than a boon to your creativity, feel free to dump it for the game creation tool of your choice. If you're new to Klik & Play, check out our Learning KNP FAQ.

It's no fun making games by yourself in a vacuum, so make sure to stop by IRC. Our server is irc.freenode.net, and our channel is #glorioustrainwrecks.

On Saturday, March 27 at 4 PM Pacific, join us for a special Knytt Stories hoedown! You will be provided, free of charge, with TWO HOURS to create your very own Knytt Stories level from scratch.

Never used the Knytt Stories editor before? No problem! Download Knytt Stories here. (If you've never played it before, give the tutorial or bundled level a go to get a feel for how the game works.) The editor comes included, and a good way to learn to use it is by cracking open existing levels and poking at them to see how they work. This guide is also recommended reading.

Join us on IRC for camaraderie, support and merrymaking! Point your favourite IRC client to #glorioustrainwrecks on irc.freenode.net, or use our handy-dandy in-browser chat here.

Upload your level here when it's done!

(And remember: don't eat the mushroom.)

It's Themed Trainwreck Thursdays, a new series which (hopefully) comes to you on the second Thursday of every month, airing at 7 - 9 PM EDT, the same time as Klik of the Month!

Here's the deal: As a contestant on our show, you are given two hours to come up with your very own themed trainwreck using the tool of your choice! The winner receives fun and good times! Consolation prize is fun and good times!

Your theme for this month is: Falling Block Puzzle. We are also accepting submissions for ideas regarding future Themed Trainwreck Thursdays, so everyone is a winner!

The Falling Block Puzzle is an enigmatic mix of wells and falling objects. Your themed trainwreck could be about shapes or colors. It might involve falling objects that aren't blocks. It might even be surreal. Just be sure you include wells and falling objects.

Remember, contestants on our show get to enjoy such amenities as The Learning KNP FAQ and Internet Relay Chat, so you can feel like a real star!

Let's hear it, ladies and gentlemen!

Contestants, submit your Themed Trainwrecks here!
