We Go Play Hoop
We Go Play Hoop is a basketball game made in KnP. You play some hoop with a friend.
Player 1 is the Disco Weenie and moves with the arrow keys and spacebar. Player 2 is the yellow jogger and moves with WASD and Shift. Shoot the ball to the other hoop to score mad points yo- first to 10 or so wins. Also, the start screen lies- press shift to start.

Anyone? Because I think this game is PRETTY COOL.
I haven't had a chance to
I haven't had a chance to play this with another person, but it's near identical to one of my earliest games! My version had a palette swapped yellow jogger for player 2 (green shorts I think), and an attempt at ball gravity by slowly turning the direction of the ball towards down. I had even animated the ball into the player animations for them to dribble!
One thing markedly different is your stealing mechanism. Whereas I depended solely on players timing their jump in front of the other player to their release of the ball, I really like the continuous back & forth created by your possession-collision stealing gameplay.
Should I track down my old files and post them for you to compare? They really are eerily similar!

If you want to, I'd love to see them! I'm a little afraid that it's a lot better than mine, but then again it was probably done in more than an afternoon so that's cool!
