Alpha Duck 5100: A Portrait of Perfection

AlphaDuckTriptych.png

Again, I thought the Global Game Jam project I worked on this year might appeal to a few folks here, seeing as it's a tough-as-nails ARG supplemented with shockingly badly acted FMV-inspired movie sequences that make me cringe. Check it out, and don't hesitate to ask for hints as you will likely need them.

OK, back to work on my Sekret Santa game.

Christmas game for Sergio!

Of your requests I mostly just went with 'or draw all the graphics on paper' and 'dream world', and anything else that fits is a nice coincidence. Many mysterious errors in life and Unity appeared, but everything was overcome with no compromises :D

Hope you like my/your pretty game.

I've added Windows, Mac, and Linux versions. Hopefully the lack of mouse control avoids the usual Mac and Linux errors.

K&P Raycaster

Screenshot 2021-09-20 at 23.05.42.png
Game File:

Hi all, or whoever is still around on here. I used to be a member about 10 years ago but drifted away and hadn't touched Klik & Play since. I recently saw a post elsewhere online about creating a raycasting engine, which must have triggered some repressed memory because after getting this stupid idea, I couldn’t get it out of my head. I knew I had to somehow make it happen.

I see there was some discussion a long time ago about creating a raycaster in this fine bit of development software but as far as I can see, nobody ever got it going; or at least if they did, nobody ever shared it. So today, I’m ambivalent to unveil the world’s worst raycaster.

It’s slow, glitchy, and almost indecipherably low resolution, but it does just about work. Arrow keys move the player around.

Tested working in a WinXP virtual machine under Parallels on Mac OS. No idea if it works in WINE etc.

enjoy!

Water Lily Beetle Jamboree [for bpseudopod]

Screenshot from 2020-01-06 03-14-58.png

Hello everyone! I made this for bpseudopod! I got swamped in my time making this and overwhelmed by all of the non-art aspects of using Unity, so this project is not the way I wanted it to be necessarily. But that can change. I was told it may be a good idea to provide updates to it as I'm able.
This was a trainwreck for me but a learning experience :)
I will update it in the coming times. just for you bpseudo

PLOT

You are a water lily beetle, and it is your jamboree. Have a nice time hopping across the lilypads and look up at the night sky...

CONTROLS

Space: Jump
WASD: Move

There is no way to respawn or restart, play in windows mode or press alt+f4 to close

PROMPT

+ nice and/or cool bugs (maybe im the bug? wow)
(you are the bug, there are no other bugs)
+ big environment to explore
(its bug but in scale, but not much to explore)
+ i know it sounds like i just want hollow knight so far but i don't like that game much so please don't get me hollow knight
