Leaping Lizabeth and the RISING MAGMA of DOOM

screenshot-magma.jpg

Leaping Lizabeth and the RISING MAGMA OF DOOM. A "pixel-perfect" platformer (no grid! no tiles!) by McFunkypants. Use the arrow keys or W,A,S,D to run and jump, platformer-style, all the way to the very top of the map where you will reach the safety zone. Be FAST: the volcano is erupting and the rising tide of liquid death is growing near! How fast can you make it to the top?

Written in HTML5 canvas, works on any device (tested on Playstation3 at 35fps and Android Phones at 40fps and Windows 7 at 60fps in all new browser versions) and attains pretty decent framerate. Uses the JAWSJS game engine. The level was created in photoshop: no grid or tiles were used in the making of this game.

Visit http://www.mcfunkypants.com for tons of other games. Have fun!

running katelabs on linux

was playing some katelabs worlds today and remembered that info about this isn't anywhere i can find, so here's how to run katelabs on linux (tested on debian 11)

1. create a new 32-BIT wineprefix:
WINEARCH=win32 WINEPREFIX="/home/YOUR_USERNAME/.katelabs" winecfg

! important ! only works with a 32 bit wineprefix - some of the stuff below will fail to install otherwise

2. install necessary stuff with winetricks:
WINEPREFIX="/home/YOUR_USERNAME/.katelabs" winetricks amstream dmband dmcompos dmime dmloader dmscript dmstyle dmsynth dmusic dmusic32 dsound dswave qasf qcap qdvd qedit quartz vcrun6 xvid

after doing this you should no longer get a "memory access violation" error after selecting the resolution

Ultimate Trainwreck Training Simulator

trainwreck.jpg

I read this game idea "This might be a terrible idea. But how about a game about making a game in 2 hours for Klik Of The Month?"
This is KIND OF my outcome for this. Like that's kind of the idea behind it. I'm sorry if you think I have failed and it isn't really fitting to the provided theme. Please let someone else try to do something with that theme then. Sorry

Also this was supposed to be game #700 but then somone else claimed game #700 and I felt like working AT WORK instead of making trainwrecks
