OK, this one really (probably) is my last game. It's a tribute to SpindleyQ's 2012 Christmas present to me, It's Christmastime! Sorry for not remaking a game you didn't make for me... wait, does that even remotely warrant an apology

Introduction

Chess was occasionally criticized in the 19th century as a waste of time. Intelligent Qhess encourages this notion.

Intelligent Qhess is here to elevate the meaning of Chess. It is a new beginning in the world of intellectual thought.

In Intelligent Qhess, you will have to reconsider all of your preconceived notions about Chess, Imagination, and Life.

Getting Started

To begin playing, download, unzip, and run Intelligent Qhess.exe. The menu and gameplay of IQ are controlled completely by the mouse. On the main menu, you will have two sets of options: player modes, and gameplay settings.

Choose a suitable player mode: IQ can be played by 1, 2, or 0 people! If you are playing by yourself, I recommend having a match against CPU L2 to start with. But nothing will ever be more strategic then the wit of another human opponent... When you are ready, click on the "BEGIN MATCH" button!

The game will begin immediately. On your turn, simply click on a piece to select it. Then click anywhere on the board to attempt a move. Further, more detailed instructions may be found in the README.

Linux Compatibility

You can play this game on Linux using WINE!

If you are using 64-bit Linux, and the game starts without any sound, you might be missing 32-bit libraries for your default sound device. As a common example, if your setup is PulseAudio on 64-bit Debian/Ubuntu, you can install 32-bit libraries using the apt-get utility:
apt-get install libpulse0:i386

Troubleshooting FAQ

1. Bad Pirate won't run!
   Yes, sorry, the zip that Dock uploaded doesn't have all the data to run it, and I didn't catch this before release. You can play Bad Pirate online in your browser here.
2. Collect the Umbrellas won't run!
   This can be fixed by replacing "kartconfig.lua" in your Kart directory with this version.
3. No Klik & Play games will run! I get some error about not being able to run a 16-bit program or something.
   If you are using a 64-bit computer, which is fairly likely these days, Klik & Play games may not work directly. See our page about running Klik & Play games on 64-bit computers for help.
4. Some Klik & Play games won't run, but others will!
   It's been reported that some games refuse to run in 16-bit colour mode. Try switching to 32-bit colour.

I really just wanted to bump the Pirate Kart game count up to 1006 at the last minute. that's exactly half of 2012! 50% of the promised content, 1006% of the promised rhinoceros-ness!!

I made this Knytt Stories level for Klik of the Month, cuz I'm a rebel. Anyway it's a delicious candyland level made with delicious candy tilesets. It takes a bit to get to all the candy, though.

Based on a bad joke involving the protection of a fridge in my buddy's apartment while we were moving his stuff in. Use the arrow keys to defend, q to return to the title screen.

Guide Shellmar the blue turtle through the perilous blue caves in search of treasure!

Shellmar has the special ability to repel bullets by holding his shell over his head. Shellmar is not very strong, though, and this soon wears him out, so he can only hold his shell over his head while standing on the ground and for only one second at a time.

I was in a river in Zion Canyon most of Saturday, so I missed this KotM, but I've been itching to participate in another one for a while now and figured I'd rather be late now than wait for next month.

I've been wanting to make this game's basic idea for a while. It became a somewhat different thing.

Ghostie Goes To School is the story of an innocent young Ghostie facing the challenges of school life and growing up.
