Wanted to make something smaller and more relaxed cause I usually turn up the weird/angry/in-your-face knob too much. I also wanted to experiment with multiplayer more. There's 4 girls on an island and a bunch of rooms. You can control every girl and explore the island. there's minimal interaction. I threw in some of my old music as a backdrop

enter: interact

O: interact

was playing some katelabs worlds today and remembered that info about this isn't anywhere i can find, so here's how to run katelabs on linux (tested on debian 11)

1. create a new 32-BIT wineprefix:
WINEARCH=win32 WINEPREFIX="/home/YOUR_USERNAME/.katelabs" winecfg

! important ! only works with a 32 bit wineprefix - some of the stuff below will fail to install otherwise

2. install necessary stuff with winetricks:
WINEPREFIX="/home/YOUR_USERNAME/.katelabs" winetricks amstream dmband dmcompos dmime dmloader dmscript dmstyle dmsynth dmusic dmusic32 dsound dswave qasf qcap qdvd qedit quartz vcrun6 xvid

after doing this you should no longer get a "memory access violation" error after selecting the resolution

The 1200-in-1 pirate cart is a NES multicart that contains Contra, Super Mario Bros., Tetris II, Chinese Chess, Battle City, Field Combat, Antarctic Adventure, Circus Charlie, Binary Land, Bomberman, Ice Climber, Galaxian, Ninja Jajamaru-kun, and Road Fighter, with various level-skip hacks or other permutations.
