omfg welcome to my homepage

Screen Shot 2019-11-30 at 10.48.44 PM.png

I tried to make this look like the first website I ever created back in 2001, complete with the multi-colored star background. Omfg.

Remember Mr. Cat?

Since i found back my klik projects i made, i decided to start working back to the Mr. Cat Halloween Special named Mr. Cat's Scary Halloween Holiday.

There will be more lacky cutscenes, levels and more stupid stuff pretending to be poorly made, and maybe failing to make a halloween special.
(Yes, i'm still in the habit of poorly made games)

But i might not release in halloween because i might be afraid of going through the new year of school.

Game File:

I had to take some creative liberties with the age-old tale of Hansel and Gretel, but here's the end result. Move with the Keyboard. Eat the hamburgers. Do things!

I'm not at all sure how to even talk about this one, but I'll give it a shot. It's about the ephemeral sum total of user experiences, so as a singular user you won't see the whole, and really it will be a waste of your time. I'll never see that sum total either, because it isn't real in any real sense, I'll just know it exists. It's also about the things I worry about as a designer that a player will never notice, but that I still consider my job to worry about. It's also about opening the box and finding out the cat is dead, and the sort of freedom I, the person who put the cat in the box, gleam from the possibility space collapsing irreversibly. Except instead of a cat it's this dumb thing that is a waste of your time regardless of if the cat's alive or not.

I haven't figured out yet if people discussing it among themselves ruins or redeems the project.

So please enjoy wasting your time for me on this meta-garbage non-game!

thanks ~

Game File:

Guide Shellmar the blue turtle through the perilous blue caves in search of treasure!

Shellmar has the special ability to repel bullets by holding his shell over his head. Shellmar is not very strong, though, and this soon wears him out, so he can only hold his shell over his head while standing on the ground and for only one second at a time.

CONTROLS:

Left/right: Move
Down: Cover Shellmar with shell
X: Jump

F4: Toggle fullscreen
Esc: Quit

I was in a river in Zion Canyon most of Saturday, so I missed this KotM, but I've been itching to participate in another one for a while now and figured I'd rather be late now than wait for next month.

I've been wanting to make this game's basic idea for a while. It became a somewhat different thing.
