Pong Tower

pongtower.png

This is the next evolution of Dark Pong and Pong/Antipong, with a good dose of inspiration from Prizeleaper. Get the ball to the top of the tower by bouncing it off the paddles. A line indicates the highest distance that the ball has reached - in that respect, it owes something to Keep Me Occupied.

Windows version in the Zip. A HTML5 version will appear sometime later.

Danger Quad

dangerquad.png

An arcade-type game inspired by NS-Shaft, and possibly Gunstar Heroes.

As Fleetfoot Fuller, danger-face-laugher and gravity-obeyer extraordinaire, you must survive in the descending shaft of this perilous videogame temple! Drop from brick to brick, and keep your wits about you when gravity suddenly flips 90 degrees, sending you sideways!

There are two game modes - a one-player game with two difficulties, and a rushed two-player game where you can challenge a friend to play Carly the Snake Woman and see if they can outlast you! And there's only room on each brick for one player, so it pays to be swift and reckless.

Arrows - Fuller's controls.
WASD - Carly's controls.
Space - Switch gravity in two-player mode.

Rotation Invaders

RotationInvaders.png

A Space Invaders type game inspired by my own Prizeturret, WarioWare: Twisted! and that one level of Karoshi 2.0.

Left - move in what would be the left direction were the screen right-side-up.
Right - move to the right, relative to the ground.

You fire automatically. Your missiles disobey gravity and will always fall "downward" regardless of the screen's rotation. The enemy's missiles do not, so try and avoid them constantly.

Mutual Devastation

mutualdevastation.png

This is a one-player Scorched Earth type game. You control both turrets, and you win if you get them to shoot each other in a single simultaneous strike. Feel free to press R to roll a new terrain map in case the current randomly generated one is too obstructive.

Gravity Gunner

GravityGunner.png

You are piloting a space fighter with no weapons, save for the Half-Life-esque Gravity Gun, a device which pulls rocks towards your ship. Use it to navigate the treacherous interstellar terrain ahead. There's one small kink, though - once you start pulling a rock toward you, you can't stop pulling it toward you unless you select another rock. This means you'll have to dodge most of the things you drag out! Be nimble, spacedude.

This is inspired by the Game Boy game Nemesis: The Interstellar Assault in terms of visuals.

Dark Pong

darkpong.png

"I was thirty seconds in, and I remember remarking in an IM window off to the side that this game was only 'dark' insofar as it was darkening my opinion of it. And then the power went out. Bam, instant three stars."

This is a BIT.TRIP BEAT inspired variant of Pong and/or Breakout. You have no opponent, but the ball obeys gravity and will arc down to you after you knock it upward. There's a second, subtler twist, though, so keep playing to see what it is.

Mouse to move.
Click to place the first ball.
Get the ball to a height of 100 to unlock Hard Mode.

Solar Rain

solarrain.png

"I lost ten minutes to this damn 'game'. Not even an achievement for making it look like a letter S."

This is a simple simulation inspired by this article, the browser game World of Sand, and several of my previous games, especially Super Calamity Annie Galaxy. Click and drag the two planets to alter the path of the stream of water emanating from a distant sun.
