Seirenes was made with Construct 2. The windchimes sounds were recorded by Philip Goddard. I also used Geraeusch recording of waves reaching a beach in Lofoten, Kerri’s recording of a quiet night at lake Michigan, Loofa’s burman gongs, and last but not least, Missozzy’s recordings of “her friend’s laughter”. The frieze comes from Josette’s blog, and the black runner figure from the UCL website, although I’m not sure of who designed them. The argonauts listing was found on Wikipedia. Orpheus among the Thracians was painted on a column krater around 450BC. I used Savae’s performance of the song of Seikilos. The song is the oldest surviving example of a complete musical composition and its lyrics translate as such :
As long as you live, shine,
Let nothing grieve you beyond measure.
For your life is short,
and time will claim its toll.

Playing around and ended up making a little thing for the anniversary jam. There's not a lot of gameplay - mainly because what I had in mind as I was playing around was dim memories of screensavers. Such gameplay as there is comprises clicking on the crystals to try for a high score (because crystal is traditional for 15th anniversary!). Or you can just watch the pictures drift past. The images are all produced with neural blender which is a web-based AI generated 'art' system using 'computer' as part of the text prompt; I've been down a bit of a rabbit hole re that sort of thing since I made my recent 'Art of the Real'. Anyway - hope you get something out of it and happy anniversary!
Ball Buster is a 64K intro using the ZZT engine that runs on MS-DOS PC, DOSBox or Zeta and was released in 2019 by Nanoco. It is based on the popular arcade games Breakout and Arkanoid. The total world and executable size is 65,536 bytes.
You've had enough.

Roll around on the rolling hills collecting diamonds. Left and right move in the obvious directions. Try not to get popped by pointy sticks falling from the sky. Get high points!
Found this on The Internet Archive the other day.

There it's downloadable as a CD-sized ISO file, but the actual textures are only ~55MB (and are echoed in different formats: JPG, GIF, TGA, IFF, PIC). So I've uploaded the JPG versions of them somewhere hopefully a bit more handy. You should get a little preview of each image, and be able to download them all in a batch or one-by-one.
