The Klik of the Month Klub meets right here on this very website on the third Saturday of every month at 4pm Pacific Time (taking daylight savings into consideration) for a two hour Klik & Play Showdown. Everyone who participates gets two hours to create something from scratch in Klik & Play. Abusing the stock objects is encouraged. If you really loathe Klik & Play you can use whatever game development platform you want. Two hours is a pretty tight time limit, though, so choose wisely!

Klik & Play is absolutely free to download, and learning it takes minutes, so everyone can get in on the action.

Want to talk to your fellow Klikwreckers? Join us on IRC -- server irc.freenode.net, channel #glorioustrainwrecks. We've also got a Mumble voice chat server -- just connect to glorioustrainwrecks.com using Mumble and you can talk to us like real human beings! Join the mayhem!

Can you believe Klik of the Month Klub has been around for TEN YEARS!? It's true! June 3rd marks the 10th birthday of this fantastic event, and even though it's been a while since the last one, I thought a traditional 2-hour game making event would be the best way to celebrate.

The official time of this event is set for June 3rd, 4pm Pacific Time.

But, if you want to make something outside of the allocated time and submit it to this event, go ahead!

Klik & Play is free to download and super easy to learn. Unfortunately, it doesn't run on most modern computers, nor will it produce games that do. If that's a problem for you for some reason, then The Games Factory might be the next best thing!

Alternatively, there are plenty of other tools and level editors around you could use to make something, such as:
Bitsy, kooltool, flatpack, 0m3ga Visual Novel Engine, 3D RAD, VVVVVV: Make and Play Edition, flickuboy, ThingLink, Boppin' Editor, Tabletop Simulator, Castles of Adventure, Sword of Moonlight, The Almighty Paintbrush, Silent Walk: RENAISSANCE, Bangai-O Spirits and Yellow Jogger Laser Platform Madness.

Want to talk to other game makers instead of working in total isolation? The traditional method is IRC, which you can connect to right here on the site or using the settings server irc.freenode.net, channel #glorioustrainwrecks.

An RPG part of an epic storyline full of plot twists and deception.

In the Shop & Forge, click on the sword icon to pay XP to increase your sword's attack power. Click on the potion to pay XP to buy a potion.

While in battle, click on the sword icon to attack. Click on the potion icon to use a potion to restore 10 HP.

Defeat your opponents to advance.

For this St. Patrick's Day I thought I'd make a tiny Knytt Story in celebration of the holiday. It's very short, only 4 screens big, and there's no ending, either. Still, I hope you enjoy it, in this season of vaguely green-themed cheer and good will.

Beauty within its flaws is a game about being ugly, weird and bizarre with its visuals, controls, abilities and its possibilities.
