I've entered into the themed trainwreck #4 and the KOTM #63. I'm actually going to complete something this time! I'm so excited! I already have my handy programmer's notebook and I scribbled some ideas. I'm using KNP/GF again and it's tough re-learning how to use this dang thing. My sis has the original KNP manual at her house that she borrowed from me. I got to wait until she brings it back. I do have a PDF version of the manual.
I was thinking of firing up the old Mac and use KNP on there, but I can't get the internet and the version of KNP I downloaded didn't work (as it read the zip file wrong as Windows zip, not Mac Zip). I wonder if anyone uses KNP for mac?
A fairly long Christmassy psychedelic ZZT game done in the style of the legendary ZZTer Viovis/Ghettoflower. Your task is to assist Santa Claus in his fight against the Krampus, who has stolen his sleigh, by serving as Santa's advocate, a job that inexplicably involves becoming a kung fu master. There's a lot of comedic twists and turns and a very diverse art style that changes throughout the game.
http://www.offworld.com/2009/04/quick-look-warioware-made-in-ore.html -- interesting!
I know there's a smal and growing collection of similar stuff on line.
For my money a WarioWare construciton kit would be more interesting than the one in, say, Big Little Planet
The sorcerer's apprentice gains the power of Teleport...

Z to cast Fireball
X to cast Soul Asplode
C to Teleport
i can't but i guess slightly? i think...,........... whatever though
I found this while searching for DJ Nastyman's eccentric klik games. I couldn't find any, which is a shame. :( But this is sort of a nice consolation. Download it here.
The controls, from what I could make out of the event editor when loading it in Klik & Play: (turn numpad on)
7,8,9,0 -- select inventory
CTRL -- use inventory
Also, be sure to enable sound since it has voicework.
(Edit: I guess some Nastyman games are still around, just not the adventure games SRSX is referencing.)
Hi Wreckers!
For the zine that Blueberry Soft is organizing, I'm organizing a feature with recommendations! I'm thinking just five per person. This doesn't have to be a best or favorites kinda list, so take that as you will! It can be whatever five (other people's) games on this here trainwreckin' site you'd like people who pick up the zine to go and seek out. I'm collecting the lists here! Post them in the comments! I'll post my own shortly.
We probably can't do more than eight or twelve lists, so this'll be first come-first serve (if everyone wants in, we might have to rethink that!). Post your list of games AND the EXACT NAME you want to be credited with.
The JRPG to end all JRPG's. You no longer have to purchase another one, ever. Grind levels to kill innocent cats, or kill Jesus! (only because *insert your favorite deity here* wasn't part of KnP's stock image set).
BASED (loosley) ON THE CLASSIC TV SHOW,YOU PLAY AS LION-O AND DO THINGS BECAUSE YOU'RE AWESOME LIKE THAT AND STUFF.
INSTRUCTIONS IN GAME.
So I'm lacking all the cool knp graphics like evil face, those space stations and so on. I guess they only come with the CD version of knp and not the school version I've got. Could someone please provide those libs? Thanks a lot.
