A golf simulator that allows you to actually, physically play golf using your computer's mouse as the target hole. I'm sure most people reading this do not have golf balls and clubs laying around, but part of the appeal is that anything you want to use can fulfill those roles. I did not intend for the first two sentences to rhyme with each other.
Work on this began in September 2018, and I kept putting it away due to various life circumstances, as well as getting frustrated because my grand ideas were not always possible - or the solution for making them possible wasn't readily apparent to me. All in all, if I tallied up the amount of time I actively spent working on it, excluding the brainstorming stage, it probably took me a month's worth of full time work. I'm happy with the end result, a funny program that lets you to play a pretty well known game in a way that's just slightly different enough to seem weird and interesting.
Something I discovered during development, while I was testing this, is that you can play this game without actually treating it like a golf game. You can just swat the mouse around to activate the "hole out", and it almost takes on this fidget-spinner type quality to it. So while I keep referring to this as a "game" or a "golf simulator", in many ways it can also serve as a toy.
I'm glad to be able to work on other stuff now, free from the looming spectre of "but you haven't finished Pitch and Putt Club."
Hope someone out there enjoys this!
Important:
I HEAR IT IS YOUR BIRTHDAY.
HOLY CRAP
I made you a birthday game! It is called
I Wish I Were Able To Hold A Cake (In My Tiny Arms)
(use the mouse)
Happy birthday, Jeremy. Hope you have a good one!

Help Rocket Kitty rocket! Use the arrow keys to move and the "Z" key to engage and disengage the rocket.
I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. With a little bit of tweaking and a graphical overhaul I could probably make a full game out of it. EDIT: Now re-uploaded with awesome music composed by my boyfriend within the time limit!
This game was made with Construct and requires DirectX 9 to run.
It's not prison. It's NOTPRISON. Rated PG-13, coming this Fall
you're a cheese slice.
on the subway tracks.
there are mice.
and rats.
yup.
A blocky creature hops around on screen, and you use the mouse to measure its various body parts (in pixels). Sometimes it's facing you, other times it's facing away, and other times it's looking to the left or right. You'll have to be patient if you want to document all of the dimensions... of the Boxy Hop-Dog.
Inspired by that classic question "The Pokédex lists the height of each Pokémon. How do they measure the Pokémon?"
The dimensions are randomized each time you play.
There are a few quirks (listed in the readme) but overall I'm very pleased with how this turned out. I was originally going to make 'better' looking art but I got so used to my placeholder art that I just ran with it. I did tweak the colors a bit to make each body part easier to tell apart for colorblind people and I hope I was successful in doing so. There is togglable text-to-speech just in case the X and Y values are too hard to read - I tried to make the color of the text easy to read against the background/Boxy Hop-Dog.
Made in Multimedia Fusion 2 with music made in Bosca Ceoil.
A cool 6 second .gif of the game is provided below
NOTE NOVEMBER 3RD 2021: I've added in a way to make the game mostly playable with just the mouse, as long as yours has a scroll wheel - you can use either the left or right mouse button to measure, clicking the middle button will bring up the entry screen and you can use the mouse wheel to scroll up or down to add/subtract values to the currently selected entry field. The latter method takes a little while longer than using the number keys but it's definitely doable.

Playing through some of these games has given me a spirit for klik n play and I really like these releases. Some people aren't fortunate to have the windows 16 bit working and I like to pass games along to my ug for them to enjoy to get a real sense of appreciation for a good short game and the beautiful klip art many of these entries possess. The tracks are sweet, sometimes they need a little nudge with the right soundfont, and they carry the game to its completion.
Alright, let's try that again.
jump with shift, bananas are not allowed
Talk about haunting, this one just plays just right, no surprise breaking, just enjoy. Lovely everything about it, and don't touch the bananas if you can help it obviously.
So yeah, play away, click on the image to link to the game, and if you like them, leave a comment.. user comments are what keeps people less frownie, pledge your support like I did when I took the time to make this post and give them all flash objects so anyone of any o/s can enjoy so long as they can run flash objects in the first place. on the top left of each game there's a link that says NODE (node name) click that and you're back to where you... well, where I think you want to be..
Also there are PLENTY of flash objects that are already out there, they're live out there, on newgrounds or wherever. More on that on another setting and time.

Thanks Dattorz!
Theme was turning into a monster from sergio!
Have fun! Stay safe!
EDIT EDIT:
If you played the first version of the game, don't press [Y] press [space]. If you just downloaded the game, press [Y]
New Edit:
I changed the title so it fits in the space nicely.
